The Five states of Rage.

This a a guide on exactly where you are on the rage spectrum of league of legends. chances are, you are not in your section on purpose, as others may have pushed you there, but at least this will tell you what your symtoms are, and if its possible for you to calm down, and maybe return to the friendly person you are. These are not stages but rather specific area in which you fall under.

Blue Feather: You are a tad annoyed at league/Team/Life. its understandable. it feels like a small itch you cant get rid of. mostly just annoying but it can easily be removed with some simple detoxifying. deep breaths, petting kittens, watching funny videos, or even a good wank could easily cure you of this. just dont hold onto it, or it could grow.

Yellow Mushroom: Things could be better. You tend to thing a good game of league could calm you down but, after maybe two or three losses, or other problems, you feel actually angry, you might even swear or curse a little at others. you most likely need a break from the game or maybe just mess around on something else. that might help.

Red troll: you are a person who has been flamed so much you go on what i like to call a "Spike", a brief moment where you dont care what happens to you or your team mates. you almost see red, and its understandable, nothing has gone right for you at all, and you really really wanted a fun game. im not gonna say a few deep breaths will help you, cus they wont, but maybe a few push ups might. and some clod milk as well. however you really should stop after your next game, or you might move onto something worse.

Yasuo player: you have had one hell of a time, league has not been kind to you. after having people do nothing but int, and feed, and run down lanes on purpose only for you to get a chat restriction for calling them some name, while they were the ones that taunted you, has really pushed you over the edge. you cant think stright nor should you. im not here to tell you how to play. you will probs begin to think like "oh if they can get away with it why cant i?" and you too will begin to int and run down lanes, repeating the cycle for another person. there really isnt a way to help you, im sorry to say.

Black reality: Thats it. its the breaking point. youve tried everything. breathing, being positive, taking a break, but it follows you. nothing at all has gone your way. you feel a bitter feeling all around you. this is the closest thing to insanity. you have been pushed far past the limit and now everyone has to pay. you do not care about the consequences. you dont care what anyone else is going thorugh. in fact you might wish pain upon others to an extreme extent. everything is black, and you can no longer see any hope for anything. nothing but anger. there is no help. there is no cure. the game has destroyed you. the players have destroyed you. TL;DR

Yasuo players are beyond help.

It's a little scary how accurate this is, actually. I find what works best for me is talking to my friends and playing a few games with them. If you can get enough people in a call, it's better. The best way to drown the feeling of losing a game is by drowning it in wins.

this has been me, in perpetuity, since somewhere in the middle of season 3 or 4 when i got my first permaban.

i remember clearly, i was playing kassadin on my first game after my 1300-game chat restrict. i decided to run it down while spamming caps in all chat all game after i executed from not getting a leash. was permabanned immediately afterwards

to this day, if one thing goes wrong, even as small as my jungler ruining my wave, i run it down, afk, or soft int. i mostly soft int these days. still flame tho

i am aware that i am not well, thanks

An interesting yet oddly personal read, well done.

I've been there and it's not a great place to be mentally. It's extremely dark and you end up wishing death on your teammates, blaming them for everything regardless of what happened, and ultimately there is no turning back from this unless you hard reset your mental by walking away from League. The only times I feel like I get this far is when people start making personal attacks - and it's not like they're attacking some stupid call that I made or a really silly dive that was probably what lost us the game. It's things like "u have downs too?" or "ur r%%%%%ed" or "1/5 shut up" or something of the like. I have no tolerance for people that do that and to those that think it's ok, I say, "alright, if you're happy attacking me, then I suppose you're happy losing 20 LP. DW about me... I'll get it back soon enough, but it's not worth sweating it out with you. pce!"
