Wouldn't it be awesome if the ingame chat were removed completely? Through the ping system there's more than enough ways of communicating, and it sure would prevent a lot of flaming and tilting.. I for 1 really wish for this to happen, because I'm sick and tired of ppl being so toxic and the report system isn't hitting hard enough down on the problem..

My recommendation would be to take a look at your own communication habits, and see if you are doing everything you can do to foster a friendly and communicative environment. I probably only have an unfriendly game about once in every four or five games, and the only thing I can think of that I'm doing that I don't believe the average player is doing is my focus on intentionally trying to create a friendly and supportive environment.
It's also possible that you're already doing that, and you're just unlucky in the people you get group to it. I can't say for sure. :/
