Barriers to Learning New Champs in Normals

Normally a mid main, playing some norms to learn jg...

Join a game, immediately say "jg plz" Summoner goes "let me jg if you want to win" I respond: "I don't want to win, I want to learn new champs" -- of course winning would be awesome but if I lose trying to learn, it is to be expected.

Then proceeds to not leash me, then I get invaded and ofc I'm low from lack of leash and get Fb'd and by the time I'm back up, my jg is all cleaned up.

I'm perfectly cool if someone doesn't want to leash bc they want to try to invade or whatever, but to do it out of spite bc I did not give up the role I'm trying to learn...is asinine. And of course after game he calls me scum and says "know your place". Look up the dude's profile and he's D5. How is this guy not banned? And why is there always someone like that in my games?

You really shouldn't expect a leash. At least be good enough to play leashless. Or know how to play when invaded.

Also please remove his name, naming and shaming isn't allowed here.

Normals are made to practice new champions, i mean it's a good idea to try it vs bots or in the practice tool for a few minutes to get a feel of his abilities and so on, the practice tool is perfect for a jungler practicing his early clear, you can even simulate a leash.

But once that's done spam normals with it, it's the only way to really practice.

What do you mean by "says jg plz" ? In blind pick you can take any role/champion you want, but that also means that, let's say you go GP top, anyone can take something like Kog'Maw and come top lane with you, it's not forbidden. ( that dude have the right to clear your jungle, just like you can take all his cs if you want, there are no rules saying that cs belong to someone ).

You should always queue for normals draft pick, blind pick is awful because of the way roles are attributed ( I don't even get why people are queueing for blind picks )

PS : naming people is forbidden on those boards for obvious reasons, edit your thread please :)
