Thought I'd share my last words, after I got into a lobby, had a death, bot lane Jhin starts instigating, like he woke up on the floor this morning, he starts calling out me, the jg, blaming others for his play, and im obviously not happy by this. He's calling me and a teammate garbage essentially for doing nothing wrong? Thank you very much Jhin. Havent played League in over a year, then the first warning is a permaban. Unnecessary

If you had a 14 day ban before you left, this certainly would get you a permanent ban. Your punishment tier does not fall down simply with time, you must actively play and show reform to drop down a punishment tier.

would it be too much to ask riot to add a status bar on the account that displays punishment tiers and progress towards either end of it?

one regarding the honor level progress would also be nice

Why? Then people would just be calm until they weren't about to be permabanned. The point is that you should always be on your best behavior.

so you'd rather flamers get permad than learning to be good under the threat of the glowing red punishment bar getting full because they didn't know how punishment tiers work

besides going down a punishment tier takes a while. if someone gets the two week ban i'd rather they aren't toxic for 6 months of play in the interest of going down on punishment tiers than losing the account at the next "you're stupid" comment

you aren't encouraging people to not get involved in the illegal purchase of accounts if the probably of losing one's account is imminent at the first tilting game without actual profile warnings. most of them arent even reading that 2 week ban description

You get several warnings as it is, 2 chat restrictions and a 14 day ban. If you need to live under the constant threat of "Remember, one more strike and you're out" then you're not learning, you're not reforming, and you're just a ticking time bomb who will only offend others and hurt themselves.

Out of curiosity -- did you have a 14-day ban shortly before you stopped playing for a year? This log triggering an immediate permanent ban seems weird to me. It's DEFINITELY punishable, but the escalation seems unusual.
