Ribbons of Honour

Lately I have been trying to get a ribbon/crest through ranked. In about 4-5 days of trying I finally got my crest, and I was just thinking that it would be cool if you could choose which ribbon to use once you have unlocked them (via an in game tab maybe). Some players might prefer to use an honorable opponent ribbon over a team leader ribbon, so it would be great if they got to decide which one to wear after they have unlocked them.

Another suggestion is that all four corners of your border should be used up for ribbons as you unlock them.

You don't keep them forever. You have to continue getting consistent honors for the ribbons to remain on your account. So it's not really an 'unlocked' thing so much as a display of your recent in-game behaviors.

Yes, I am aware that you have to consistently get honors to maintain ribbons, but as long as you are maintaining a steady flow of honors I think you should be able to choose which ribbon you display, or have all of them shown in the four corners of your border

and how do you specifically try to get a ribbon, except by being a nice guy and playing with your team, which you should be all the time anyway?

I mean, I pride myself on my ability to not rage in-game (you should hear me IRL, but that's another issue...) and to always be positive, and in 6 months, I never managed to get any ribbons..

I got my ribbon really quickly by doing things you should be doing anyway. At the start of every game I would say "GL HF guys :)." Every time my jungler ganked or we got a kill down in bot lane I would say things like "good teamwork guys keep it up" At the end of each game, regardless win or lose, I would say "GG WP, Thanks for the game, was fun." Then in the after game chat I would compliment my team on their teamwork, say that they were very friendly and if they did bad, just say "bl was probably just a bad game man". A lot of people honored me because, despite the fact we were losing, I stayed positive and tried to work as a team, and get them to work as a team. Being mute doesn't get you honored. I mostly play support/tank jungle, so it isn't carrying that always gets you honored either. You need to communicate, be positive, and, even if you hate the guy, be nice.
