Lately I have been trying to get a ribbon/crest through ranked. In about 4-5 days of trying I finally got my crest, and I was just thinking that it would be cool if you could choose which ribbon to use once you have unlocked them (via an in game tab maybe). Some players might prefer to use an honorable opponent ribbon over a team leader ribbon, so it would be great if they got to decide which one to wear after they have unlocked them.

Another suggestion is that all four corners of your border should be used up for ribbons as you unlock them.

You don't keep them forever. You have to continue getting consistent honors for the ribbons to remain on your account. So it's not really an 'unlocked' thing so much as a display of your recent in-game behaviors.

and how do you specifically try to get a ribbon, except by being a nice guy and playing with your team, which you should be all the time anyway?

I mean, I pride myself on my ability to not rage in-game (you should hear me IRL, but that's another issue...) and to always be positive, and in 6 months, I never managed to get any ribbons..
