Player Behavior

Hello Riot,

I wanted to write a little note on why I am currently NOT enjoying the game that I use to enjoy logging in for several hours each day. I know that it is preseason and the boards are littered with disagreements with some of your directions you have taken the game and quite frankly I do not mind the changes. Each year you guys have added something new to 'spice-up' the next season and I find this really enjoyable as it keeps me coming back in order to master what you have created. Of course there are some flaws with changes and that is to be expected since we are in the preseason where you make the most drastic of changes. So I want to say I do not mind how the gameplay is its current state given it is the preseason.

So what is the real reason why I am finding this game less and less enjoyable?

Well it is simple really and it is player behavior within games. More specifically in ranked games as I typically play ranked or against bots. I play against bots in order to easily obtain 1st win of the day bonus or to try out new builds or champs. I enjoy ranked gameplay over normals because I feel there is more competitiveness and with this I understand there is more added stress among players. However, what I am not enjoying is when your team is behind or starts to lose, there seems to ALWAYS be one person if not the entire team that begin to play the blame game. What makes this season/patch seem so worse is the change in pace you have created, thus making games 'tilt' quicker meaning the blame game starts sooner. With the surrender remaining at 20 minutes, players begin to watch your every move and point out 'this is why we are loosing.' This leads to me second guessing myself as well as resent my fellow teammates, which is never good in a team based game. Sometimes we have bad games, but that doesn't warrant another to blast them for their mistakes. Of course if their mistakes are intentional then those would not be mistakes, but aiding the other team.

Now I know many could argue I could simply mute them or report them afterwards, but I ask you why should I be compelled to mute someone every game or why should it be allowed others can mock others with a simple punishment of a chat restriction?

Another reason I want to leave my chat open to my fellow teammates is the fact communication is the number one key component to victory followed by vision.

In summary I am simply tired of being mocked and ridiculed if I (or even my fellow teammate) have a bad game or are just being beaten since it is rather difficult to win every match. I am tired of the only repercussion being that of restricting them from chat, when in reality words do make an impact on not only your gameplay, but your overall gaming experience.

I do appreciate the hard work you all have done to create this game and the time you take listening to us ramble on what should or should not be. I will most likely continue to play, but not at the same degree as in the past.
