Is perma banning even a successful solution to reform toxic players?

I just got permabanned for calling someone who was being a complete asshole, an asshole. I mean yeah whatever i should have just muted chat once i finished my 14 day, but i didnt. Two of my teammates were being toxic and flaming so i joined in on the fun. i made sure not to be offensive... until i said asshole lol. well thats all it took, years of playing this game, 40$ down the drain in skins. im just gonna make another account and be toxic at will, i have nothing to lose at this point. Does riot do this in hopes of players spending more money on their shit game? The only behavior from here on out wont be kind and friendly, if thats what they expected, theyre less intelligent than i thought.

14-day is an attempt to reform player. Perma ban is to tell the player to GTFO, not an attempt to reform (because you can no longer play that account at this point).

i have nothing to lose at this point

TIME. You lose time... If you want to piss your life away throwing a tantrum. Go for it.

Perma Banning you is riots way of saying , we give up trying to reform you, fuck off now.

If toxic players can´t be reformed [you had your chat restriction before too], they can´t be reformed. So there is no way for Riot to reach what maybe parents did not have reached in years before - nice behaviour of this guys.

So some of the perma-banned will not play again.

before > after

If the flamers come back and flame harder they will be thrown out faster.

But agreed. Had just some blind normals in low elo here. The players were "not really nice". And within only a bunch of matches were 3 times(!) one wich was running down midlane. Can not remember when I saw this before, surely not within last 500-1000 matches [or in other words: not this year]. And something like giving a hint about itemisation was claimed as toxic.

Maybe that are such guys. But within only a few levels and about 4 days I´ve got also 4 instant feedbacks that my reports ´d lead to a punishment.

It´s sad. The problem is that there is no better option.

Most players who get banned just make a new account and comeback. The lesson here is mute everyone when your match starts. The question is are you going to make another account and comeback?

no it isn't

I actually go out of my way to ruin matches now. in the past I always tried to win, no matter what, but I'm human and someone threatened me and I swore at them.

Now I try to throw matches, soft int, soft afk...and if one thing I don't like happens I five up and want to ff at 15. so no, perma bans do not work.

EDIT: and now I also try to tilt people so I can get them banned.
