Vote kick in champion select is only fair
Although the new champion select has brought us new tools to appropriate role management and team comp planning(if anyone ever payed attention to this darn thing), it has not stopped trolls and picks that are intentionally out of place or immediately damaging to the game. I'm pretty sure this has been hammered away at before, but why not a vote kick, majority rules system put in place in champion select to immediately filter those players from playing with an incompatible group or otherwise reform those players so that they can play at all.
I'm sure everyones first thought is, this can be easily abused. Sure, I can not argue that at all. That is why it should all be done discreetly. Voting takes place without the players knowledge, and if the player is kicked it would only be as if someone dodged the queue. What if this player continues getting kicked from lobbies? Well, that is when he should be notified and put on cooldown.
I feel that this system is mostly fair, avoids immediate toxicity in games from champion select and leads to fewer points lost by those only looking to play serious games of ranked.
Of course this system can be perfected only by the reintroduction of solo/duo queue, but is skewed otherwise with the ability to have 3-4 people in a single premade.
All subject to opinions I would love to hear, even if its beating a dead horse. I've not played very long, so I'm not up to date with what has been said on this subject previously.
