I got a 14 day ban, and I'll agree I am a rager straight up. But I don't understand how this ban came pretty much out of nowhere? Like, I've been working to be calmer and more relaxed in games but obviously I'm not perfect and I am gonna slip up. I would be fine if it was like, a 3 or 4 day ban because when I haven't gotten any form of chat restrictions or even a warning in over a month, I don't see how it;s actually fair. Like I doubt me posting this will reduce my ban but I just want to bring up that this ban, and some other ones might be a little over-zealous?

Like I got chat restricted, I think the week before season 5 ended for like.... 20 games I think. That was completely understandable, so how did I get a 14 day ban when that was the last time I got any form of a chat restriction? Idk, I'm just really confused how this whole process works and how do you really measure who gets what ban time etc. especially since it says 'You have received a 14 day ban following an extensive audit of in-game behavior within recent League of Legends matches.' in the top of the email. I just don't understand how not getting any form of chat restriction recently or anything suddenly gets me a 14 day ban??

It takes 3 months for your punishment tier to drop down. If you don't get punished for 3 months now, your next punishment after that (within another 3 months) will be a 14 day ban again. If you get punished before the tier drops down you're going to get a permaban.

If you keep falling into the same behavior and fail to respond to lesser actions they step things up.

warning -> chat restriction -> 14-day ban -> permanent ban. 14 day ban means you're on your last warning, so hopefully you can improve from here on out!

Chat restriction a month ago is not that long ago, so I'm not sure why you're confused about it "coming out of nowhere". It should have been pretty easy to see coming!

What happened to their smaller bans lol. They used to do like 3-5 day bans to give you a warning, as chat restrictions were being added in that is. And yeah I know they'll step things up but I was just wondering why it stepped up so quickly and so harshly lol

They dropped the 3/7 day bans when they started chat restrictions.
