Hey League,

I just wanted to get some opinions I suppose, and maybe riot may read this and give me a real response, one that isn't just a copy and paste response. let me fill you in on my story so far:

so I have had my account since around 2012, I also have a degenerative muscle and hand eye coordination related disorder, this causes me to have extremely bad periods of time in my life when it comes to being able to use computer keyboards accurately etc. as you can imagine this makes playing a game like league difficult.

I had about a year I stopped playing entirely due to my inability in 2013-2014, and recently got coaxed back into playing but I was seriously dragging everyone I played with down, I'm talking games where I would go 0/20 and would be flamed and harassed mercilessly.. you know how the community can be, sometimes they're great, other times, not so much..

so I was suggested to try a script, I won't name the website nor will I condone cheating in any way shape or form as I would never want anyone to have to go through what I am now.

Long story short, I tried scripting for a days worth of games, but I felt like shit and did not feel like I'd actually done anything worth while as it wasn't my skill, let me just say though, I didn't even do all that great, but I did feel like less of a burden on my team as I was going 5/10/7 rather than 0/10/0 etc. I know that I'm a shitty person for scripting even on a handfull of games, but hear me out because my story is nowhere near over..

I submitted a ticket and reported myself the day after I scripted, and I had a nice conversation with support in regards to why I scripted and why I came forward, and in all honesty I expected a punishment, but the person I spoke with seemed to be very understanding, and I assumed they would probably just keep an eye on me and my activity from then on, which I have no problem with as I was never and will never use scripting again, as, if Im gonna suck, I want to suck and be doing things myself, not just a limited number of keystrokes and do mediocre, I would rather own that I'm not a very good player you know what I mean?

anyway, 8 days passed, I played a few games with friends here and there and was doing okay, nothing fantastic or out of the ordinary but I was having fun again; and then I received the email that stated my account had been permanently suspended.

I quickly requested a discussion with riot support as I had spoken to that support official prior to the ban happening, but all I received was copy pasted "you broke TOS here's a link to them" and no real response, so I kept at it and eventually was put through to their "player behavior" section, but he/she did not even speak to me, instead I was just told "there's no discussion here" and then the ticket was closed, I still have the chat logs, and I don't think I should be unbanned, that's not the point of my post at all, I did cheat, and I deserved the punishment I was given, I just.. I dunno, I guess I had hoped that I would at least be able to state my case and have a fair trial and judgement, and maybe get a chance to at least explain myself :( I'm a kind hearted soul, and I genuinely will forever regret my decision, I lost money which to be honest I don't care about so much as I lost my account I put so much time into and so much effort to grow it on its own from nothing.. and I didn't even get a chance to defend myself.

I'm sorry for the long post, and I apologize for this probably coming off as a "wah I cheated and want my account back!" post, because that's not what I intended it to sound like, I just hope that maybe riot may see this, or someone from support will, and will at least give me an honest conversation with them to hear my side of this ban, even if it doesn't lead to a lifted suspension, I just want my voice to be heard.

I'm sure others will chime in eventually, but my personal opinion says that's still ban worthy, regardless of the reasons. Sadly, Riot can't show leniency on every person who claims to have a reason for what they did, even if sometimes our gut says an exception should be made.

My big gripe on a personal level is that your initial point of contact may have mislead you into thinking you were due for a lesser ban with how friendly and understanding they were. That to me says Riot's support team needs to be way more on the same page when it comes to their stance on such things.

Major kudos for coming forward though. Have you considered getting a keyboard designed more for your condition so you can play games easier? Or perhaps a mouse with certain keys rebound to other buttons. Since I don't know how severe your condition is I can't give any proper advice, but if you struggle with the keyboard for example, maybe a gaming mouse where your pinky is always flash or ignite might alleviate some of your issues. Just food for thought.

I'm not quite sure what you want out of this though. You even stated that you contacted support and while they didn't ban your account right then and there the system still caught it. I understand you may have some sort of disability but that doesn't excuse the use of scripts. You still cheated. All in all that does suck but just make a new account and start over.
