Low priority queue and the inability to access anything while waiting 20 minutes.

I understand and firmly agree with the leaverbuster rules and punishments. However, it seems rather outdated as far as the waiting screen of the low priority queue is concerned. I would like to be able to access the entirety of the lol launcher so I can make mastery or rune changes while I wait the deserved 20 minutes for a game. This is more of an inquiry than a demand for a change. I just don't quite get why making the rest of the launcher inaccessible while in the 20 minute queue is a thing. So a little insight as to why this is would be much appreciated.

I didn't want to believe that you are locked out of everything while in LPQ, but I took a look at the support website. It appears that you are stuck there and not allowed to do anything else while waiting, which - to be honest - doesn't make any sense. The only option I see in their example images is the "Leave Queue" button. I know I like to fiddle with my runes and masteries while waiting sometimes, or maybe you suddenly have someone you want to play with. There may be arguments against adding someone mid-queue, but to be that restricted seems strange.

What are you talking about? You CAN access the rest of the client. You can even start a custom game or open a game in the practise tool.

He means while waiting out the timer while in QUEUE. The client is inaccessible.

You don't actually need to leave the countdown up. The time counts down all the same whether it's visible or not. Just close it, do other stuff, then queue.

Did this ever get solved Daimonkos? I’m in low priority queue as I type this waiting because I too am unable to access any part of the launcher while waiting. It’s always seem to have been like this. There’s no way to get out of the low priority queue box with the timer unless clicking “ leave queue”
