i just wanted to go over permabans and im bracing myself for those downvotes XD. i just thought theres got to be a way to show riot at least a way to show we reformed. for instance if you go to jail with a life sentence there is still an oppurtunity to get out with good behavior.shouldnt ppl that get permabanned be able to get 1 last chance? another example is some parents tell their children to stop doing something or this will happen,well guess what the kid keeps doing it (unless they are raised to be perfect little angels) until the parent finally does the act they say and guess what?they dont do it anymore do they :P.i feel the same about permabans,ive gotten banned the first time and i saw i could get permabanned if i continued so for about 2 months i never said anything until one unlucky day i was dumb enough to get mad again and another 14 day.so i was like well since i keep getting 14 days maybe i wont get permabanned after all.so i got 14 day banned about 10 times and then finally i got permbanned.i was so used to getting these 14 day bans that i never thought about actually get permabanned.its like a person saying stop doing that or ill take away something of yours but they only take the item for 1minute then give it back 10 times in a row you dont actually think they are going to take the item away for real.im perfectly fine with permabans its just i wish there was 1 last way to make it up because getting a permaban is like a slap in the face and wakes people up saying wow!i really do get permabans.also when youre a teen you have so much stress in your life already with high school and grades and you just release it out on innocent people it not your fault its just you should calm down before you play.my solution would be if someone makes another account and plays on it without getting any punishments for a whole season dont you think thats showing signs of reform?i do.well let me know what you guys think im not against permabans just against how they dont give you 1 last chance saying,"hey this permaban thing,yeah its real so you need to shape up or face the consequences we are giving you 1 final warning before the ban hammer drops."if i got a message saying this is your last and finaly warning i wouldve just muted everyone at the beginning of the game and not type,just ping.well thanks guys :)

They used to have a reform program where permabanned players could level a new account to 20, and if they could remain positive they'd get the main account back. However, the success rate was so abysmally low that it was scrapped. All it did was put 99% of extremely toxic players back in the game.

We already get 4 steps of punishment and other warnings. Why more steps?

If you're going to present an argument, consider using paragraphs. It's easier to make your point when it's presented in a manner that people will want to read.

That said, I've had my own thoughts on this matter. It's not as simple as just doing it, though, there would have to be a system designed around it.

I got permabanned 3x in a row, no downtime in between to do anything, didn't even have time to play in between them, not to mention sending proof that my account and credit card was hacked "stolen from LoL when they got hacked 4 years ago. A bunch of stuff was bought on my account and then it was closed.. I have no idea if it was because I reported my card stolen and they prob didn't get their money but 3 bans in a row without playing the game, never heard a word from support, just my money was taken as was my account..

10 14 day bans? I just got banned once and i decided to not be that toxic anymore and keep my cool but then i just slipped in the game with a jinx that literally admitted that her account was bought for 10$ and it made me mad and i got perma'd

This permaban system is absurd. Some power hungry developers made this system to get back at the world. Why don't people just mute?

This system is stupid. What other multiplayer game restricts player chat? Allow players to tell it how it is and play how they want. This game is a joke because of this system. I can't tell someone they're being an idiot without fearing permaban. Not playing this game.

Except, you've already had 3 chances + another one every 3 months. And there is a thing called "life sentence without parole."

They're not called permanent for no reason. Your "last chance" is actually to make a new account and try not to get that one banned.

Well the thing is that those people are given multiple chances, unless they are cosistently being racist/homophobic. I believe that those who dont learn shouldnt be given a final chance. Thats my 2 cents

The player solution is a new account generally lol, it sucks but that account is nothing but a husk now, best to forget and move on :c
