Is there a way to have my account perm muted?

Mr OHS··2 votes·542 views

Hello. I am a very passionate and competitive player that's feelings transfer into in game chat. As a result when my bronze (since I am also a very very bad player and in bronze) teammate goes 0-5 withing the first 10 mins, my vocabulary gets constricted with foul language. I have had 2 warnings so far about my ingame language and would not like my account to be banned. Unfortunately, even with the mind set of not typing at all before a game, /mute all, and going in a game with positive attitude my passion spills into the game.

Is there anyway that my account can get a perm in-game mute?

Sorry, Riot doesn't grant permanent chat restrictions.

There are several methods you might try using to limit or prevent your chat;

  • Muting any playing that appears to be negative, before they become a greater issue.
  • "/mute all" at the start of every game, so that even initial negativity doesn't get to you.
  • Move the chat window off the screen.
  • Edit the config file to shrink the window down to nothing (move the size slider in-game reverts it).
  • Use a 3rd party app to change your Enter key so you cannot use it to send messages in-game.

If you can plug out keys in your keyboard, just remove the enter key while playing. It might sound odd, but it works for me.

Yes just dont hit enter, make the chat bar as small as possible and keep it where you cannot see it. Bam instant perma chat restriction!
