Ok sorry everyone reposting this topic with my reform card.

here is the situation: I played a game before this one and my keybindings somehow reverted back to the factory set up with a few odd differences while I was playing shyvana jungle, I couldn't play and was trying to fix my settings in game, I cost our team the game and got reported, my fault I was sorry it wasn't intentional I didn't know my bindings were all messed up when I started the game. I then make sure my mouse is working properly check all my bindings outside of the game and settings and check my mouse on other things, all good. I go in to another game, I'm Malzahar mid, I get to lane go to farm, and I click on a minion and the diamond in the middle of the cursor is red and I can't target minions, then all of a sudden i can click a minion it still doesn't target it but then I can't move my champ at all. I let my team know what's going on cause the yasuo kills me under tower, this problem is going on most of the game while i'm trying to fix it, I can't do anything at all. Even with both teams flaming me I'm apologetic, and letting them know it's not intentional. Finally I relog and it all works like normal, which means it wasn't on my end, the issue wasn't with my mouse.

As far as the text goes it feels like the system took it a bit out of context but rereading it I can see how it could sound like I was being unfriendly, I was trying to calm the reksai down by saying no need to be a dick on top of it and letting them know I was trying to fix it while they were being asses to me. Could I have skipped saying no need to be a dick on top of it or about them being an ass yes. Should I be punished I don't feel like I should but yes lets go with it, but I have never had my account punished before, and to get a 14 day ban over this feels a bit excessive to me especially given it's only over one game for chat, two for technical difficulties. I know that fan boys will flame me and tell me I got just what I deserve but I would ask them to be open minded and try to view the context of my text differently, but yes I can see how it comes across. This is not a justification like other posts or not saying I don't deserve to be punished i'm just wondering why riot jumped straight to the 14 day, and why the others calling me all sorts of things and flaming me all game are still currently playing with no repercussions. I honestly wasn't saying any of these things from a point of hostility.

I know it doesn't matter what they said only what I said I get it, I put the things I sad that were rude to the people flaming me in bold just so you all know I realize and am not hiding anything. Not a justification I'm just not sure why it skipped a chat ban.

You have had multiple violations. There will be no repeal. Also why should we repeal your ban when you consistently insult Riot as a whole as well as Moderators and the people on the boards?

That's not how the punishment ladder works. If all that is the truth and you didn't edit out Zero Tolerance word or other text, then submit a support ticket and ask them why you get 14-day without going through 2 chat restriction first. No Rito can be found here and this board cannot help you with this issue. This board can only help you understand why the chatlog triggered the IFS if you provide us with full, unedited chatlogs of all games on the report card.

ugh, look man i got in trouble a lot

what i learned was to never be offensive in allchat regardless

if i'm going to defend myself i do it in chat just as a measure for the report team to see, but i wont ever actively insult someone.

I got in trouble and they declined to undue it even when the guy who the comment that got me in trouble was directed at went ahead and told riot support that it was an inside joke that was misinterpereted by others in the game

this is because riot goes by critical theory and the idea that the person who takes offense is the one to determine the definition of the language as opposed to the person who created the language. As in actual effect vs intended effect. That is not an insult at riot policy nor is it an endorsement... it's just to better explain for you to understand better how they operate.

So if someone is calling you trash you don't gotta say "you're a dick" you don't even have to argue back, you can say something like "Dude i'm sorry i'm having an off game but i'm trying my best" usually i've seen at least one or two people have my back in a generally positive way in those interactions, and never have I had a bad game where I got reported go to punishment.... actually all of the times i got in trouble i was just being too cocky or trying to be playful

anyways dude, what you can always say is stuff that will show that you're not adding to the toxic environment. Also sarcasm is a bad idea because there are lots of thinned skinned bonobos out there who want to steal your bananas.... or should I say lots of people who will misread your message and will just hit the report button.

I mean i got banned once for telling a varus player that he can't even 1v1 me, and that he was a noob cause it always too 3 to kill me... but that was the self evident joke because he was 1v1ing me on varus, a champion that by lore is 3 characters in 1. It made no difference, i wasn't smart about my delivery and shoul dhave just not done it in the first place, because like the guy smoking a cigarette by a gas pump, i made a dumbass call of judgment and put myself too close to the line.
