League Never Connected me to my Match

I was trying to enter a game and I realized I wasn't connecting. I then quit the program to re enter as happens on League from time to time. It usually lets me connect after I do so once but this time after multiple tries the game ended up ending early without me able to enter. I was then given a leaver penalty for 5 games and I really don't think that's my fault when I did my best to re enter a ranked game I really wanted to be a part of.

If I am still in the wrong I would like to know so that in the future I can just bite the bullet. And now I wait on average 10 minutes for a game.....
