my friends and i were testing out the chat filter in team chat and i guess i got suspended can for no reason cause my friends didn't get a suspension so since i wasn't being toxic or trolling or anything can you please take of the suspension?

"Testing out the chat filter" seems like a good way to have a chat log full of unacceptable words, and if there were any other players in your game it's likely that some of them were bothered and reported you -- which is unfortunate for you, but IS how the system works.

they couldnt have been bothered cause we were 5 man on skype and it was all in team chat

If one of them decided to report you as a joke it would still trigger it.

But yeah. This is why I recommend ALWAYS abiding by community rules -- you never know when someone wants to mess with you.

Send a ticket in to Riot Support if you didn't get your reform card -- but check your e-mail and spam folder first.
AzaeLaffter1 votesYes, I can vouch for this^. We were all friends. He said some offensive words, but we all did, and it was only within team chat. This all started when one of us said "Disabling chat filter doesn't work for me", so we all expressed profanity in an effort to test this. We didn't mean for him to get suspended as a result, and we're actually extremely surprised that no one else on our team is suspended if he is.

If anyone on your team or the enemy team reported him for any reason, it would have triggered a review of the game and found his chat behavior.
You could try explaining the situation to Riot Support, but I'm not sure that'll accomplish that much since, if he went straight to a 14-day ban, the content must have been pretty awful.

Intent isn't really important -- it's the outcome of the action that matters.
It's worth sending a ticket in if none of YOU reported him, and he didn't chat in all-chat, since it might be a weird case of a random enemy report finding his team-chat logs. I can't say what the odds of it being lifted are.

PlsCheckThisBush2 votesI'd recommend posting the chat logs of the game(s) that led up to the ban. Without those the community can't give you any insight on their thoughts and whether or not they feel your punishment was warranted. If there are 5 friends queued up and you're speaking only in Team Chat, realistically nobody should have reported you, however if someone found the things you were saying offensive and reported you they may have some ground to stand on. And you're always able to send a ticket in to Support if you feel your punishment was not warranted and speak with someone directly.

SeeingEyeHamster1 votesI got the same too, i was being a wierdo on my first game chat ban, and my second i was messing with my friend who wouldnt join the discord call and everytime he talked in chat i would call him a %%%got feeder and i was in a 4 man, the other guy knew i was joking and just ignored me so im really confused, i said it only in team chat too.
