Summoners Code
I think this might be my first post ever in the forum and am not entirely sure if this is even the right board where im posting this. ^^
Hello my name is Beowoulf and i wanted to bring in an idea which might be a really good one.
I don't know how many players these days read the Summoners Code (and from those who did read it at some point) and know what this game "League of Legends" actually was about (and still should be). If you read the summoners code thoroughly you can actually only read positive things in there. Its not about "what you are not allowed to do"(ofc a little bit but every game needs its rules) it is more about the what you should be doing and how. Nowadays it seems as if more and more players flame each other up to the point where one "afks" or "quits" the game because both of those players don't want to put aside their "pride". Bad games can happen to everyone and everyone flames at some point. But if that happens i rarely see someone excusing his little "temper tantrum" which happened in game or etc. I too did flame, everyone does from time to time, but i always try to stop myself as fast as possible and try to excuse my behaviour to stop any kind of flame war in the team. That just destroys the fun in the game for everybody. It is really sad to see something like this happen especially if you are in the team and can't do that much to stop it. (at least i can't) So coming back to the real reason of this post. > Dear Riot and every visitor of this post. What if you would do something to "show" the summoners code to the players by watching (animated video or maybe at the start of some big event) / playing (a little minigame for example) / or in the client itself ("loading screen" when the lol client is patching) etc. etc. im sure you (Riot) have a team that would find way better ideas than what i did. ^^
i want to leave it with that and would be more than happy to hear/read the answers / ideas what everyone is comming up with ^^
