With the new Icons tiers, the old Honor System Icons should be higher rarity

Hi

This is very small, and I obviously have a personal interest, but when the old honor system was retired those who received a ribbon for honor or were in the top 10% of people honored in a category received an icon. With the new Icons tab, rarity was introduced much like skins.

Most make sense, but these very rare and limited icons are only Mythic, or the equivalent of 1350 RP rarity. I believe they should be Mythic rarity at least, if not Ultimate.

Clash icons for winning a 16-person bracket are Ultimate, and I feel this is an on-par accomplishment. At the very least, they should be in the same tier as the Perfect Ascension Game icon and the icon given for completing the Arcade event mission.

Many people felt under-compensated for participating fully in the old Honor system without many rewards, and this is the least that can be done to make the only thing we received feel slightly more special.

I suppose it wouldn't hurt, though I don't see a whole lot of gain either. Still, as someone who had an honorable teammate and honorable opponent honor ribbon, any little bit would be nice. Though personally, I don't feel like I lost anything as the new honor system is quite good imo

As someone who was an absolute ass hole during season 1-7, I have all 4 ribbon icons while having 3 punishment which stripped the honor rewards (and ribbons) from me, and as anyone knows you only got the ribbons if you had honor based on total amount of games played total, which caused problem with player who had thousands of games on there accounts before the honor system was implemented. (Which means riot gave a huge leeway room for getting honor icons)

I don't think they should make the old honor system icons rare, I don't even think they should've made any type of rewards of that system other than giving out free rp or hextech skinshards.

That (beta) system was terrible, it failed to achieved desired results and failed to be meaningful or impactful in anyway to the point that no one even bothered to honor anymore.

Riot learned from their mistakes and made the much better honor system we have today (albeit with some minor/major problems).

They once said that the perfect ascension icon was only own by 33% of the community and was the rarest icon owned.

I would want to be appreciated by that.

I couldn't care less about honors, as rhose were just a bunch of fictitious things. In KR server, they used to honor the enemy opponent when the enemy fed the and lost the game, so that having that icon would just be a badge of shame.

I have all the Honor icons and frankly never noticed the tier when I was looking through. I don't think many people will care.
