What do I do in this situation?

When someone enters champion select and explicitly says "I'm going to troll this game." I couldn't dodge for fear of being demoted already. I kind of had to take my chances. It would've been an easy win, especially because our troll did pretty well, but he got fed up halfway through and AFK'ed.

  1. Check the boxes and close those notifications so they don't pop up again. It's so annoying! Imaqtpie refuses to do it and he streams to tens of thousands of people :D

  2. You can dodge at 0 LP and you won't get demoted. You'll just go negative.

  3. People like that do suck, and there's really nothing you can do as an immediate solution other than dodge. If you do play the match just don't forget to report them, and annotate in the description that he said he would troll.

  4. Preseason is a bad time for Ranked play. Along with the inherent imbalance due to all the changes, many people simply don't care about their matches as much because they already got their rewards. While not everyone does this, it's a gamble.

I would dodge without hesitation. I am not going into a game I know is going to be miserable on purpose. Any dodge penalty is well worth it for me. Even if I thought rank was more important than that there is almost no chance you will win that game anyway
