A Rioter Needs to Respond to This

So after a game with this guy on my team, I'm actually depressed that people like him exist. I think that it's absurd that there isn't a report option outside of the post game lobby, so here I am. I think there needs to be one.

I took screenshots of the conversation he had with me after our game when he added me and spam msged me to drink bleach and kill myself repeatedly.

It's ridiculous that people can act this way and not face repercussions. If it were any other internet medium I could sue him for threats on my life. However, since I cannot do that, I hope that a rioter somewhere will allow me to send them my screenshots and do something about this person.

The level of behavior like this is at an all time high. What type of person do you have to be to not only commit this behavior, but to idly standby while people get away with it. The report system post game does nothing or this guy would be banned by now. Like IP banned, not just an account ban.

People like this person I have screenshots of the conversation with are the reason why so many of my friends have quit League in recent months.

Please Riot, do something about players like this individual. He told me to do things to myself that no human being (and that's what we all are, the same, even though some such as this individual believe they are better than others due to their mechanical skill in a video game) should have to endure for losing a game of League.

Sincerely,

Best Sloth World

Edit: Submitting a ticket now, and I get it now about the IP thing, I meant it more along the lines of a Tyler1 status or something like that, I used the wrong terminology. Thanks for the advice though, all of you.

If you have screenshots of a conversation like that outside of the game, the best place for them would be a support ticket, like Void Nargacuga stated.

Also, the in-game report system does indeed work. It's not perfect, so unfortunately there will be some players who slip by longer than they should, but it does do a fairly decent job at punishing a large majority of toxic players.

As far as IP banning goes, Riot does not issue those due to possible collateral damage as well as how easy it can be to simply change your IP.

You can submit a Support Ticket with the screenshots. Put it under general questions.

Hope this helps!

FYI: IP bans can easily be circumvented by changing your IP.

Report after the game. It you're really that concerned, send a ticket to support with screencaps. Reporting should do enough, but it will of course take some time for him to get banned. Riot does react fairly quickly, but unfortunately even they can't ban people without the person in question ruining a few games first.

Definitely put in a support ticket with your evidence. I'm not sure if it will help but it's worth a shot? I know people may try to Photoshop or edit pictures to try and get someone banned and they don't save/look at PMs to monitor them. My only advice is that if someone is harassing you in game, immediately mute them. They won't say anything of worth and will only tilt you. Just keep calm and don't type (drag your chat off screen if need be). If you type back in any way, you're just adding to the fire and might get a report yourself. Just wait for the game to be over, report them and block them. Sadly that doesn't stop you from maybe getting placed in a game with them again but it will help. Sorry :c Sadly things like this happen and all you can do it be the better person.
