Idea for banning toxic players

Why instead of permabanning people's account for toxicity, they just permaban their ability to communicate in-game? both allies and in all. I know this happens in the beginning, where they block you from chatting, and it works! no more toxicity from that person.

I don't think it's appropriate because some people get permabanned for their words, not their play. Some people have anger issues, I don't know. If that's the case, then revoking their ability to chat would fix that, wouldn't it?

I think it'd be appropriate to permaban people that intentionally feed, afk and troll. Those shouldn't be allowed to play again.

This is my third account, recently started after a year of absence, I've seen it all. Just a thought that'll hopefully get enough traction to get noticed.

Removing their chat increases the chances that they will use other means(aka trolling) to vent their frustration. I also think chat restrictions punish everyone on a team by limiting communication.

On a personal level, I don't want to play with them period. Having them muted or chat restricted does not change the fact that they are taking up a slot that could have gone to someone I want to play with.

I would be fine if they just put them in a queue together but riot has said they don't want to do that multiple times.

I really don't get the reasoning for them not doing this...
