Riot should reset player punishments

I think riot should reset player punishments so everyone can have a complete clean slate and give everyone a finale chance to be good people. When I say reset I mean get rid of any evidence of previous punishments such as bans. Obviously some are going to look at this and say oh look another toxic player complaining about how riot banned him and he didn't think he should of been banned. That's fine don't comment in this that. Another thing is that riot of course give toxic people a bunch of 2 week bans that are permanently on there history with being bad player with riot. But they should have a chance just to have clean slate.

Multiple chances are given to players to get their behavior under control, I was one of them. I worked my way into a few chat-restrictions and also a few ranked game bans when they were still a thing, I got my shit together and havent gotten any punishments in nearly a year. If I can do, others could have done it also and chose not to.

Recent history affects your punishments. So I don't see why a clean slate would increase the likelihood of less toxic players, given that all players have the same capacity to not hit enter and type whatever harassing thing comes to mind.

You do actually have this opportunity yourself. After a period of time and a number of games (I think it's about 3 months for most people, depending on how frequently you play), your punishment levels do get reset. It's possible to get a 10-game chat restriction, work off those 10 games, not misbehave for a while, then come back and get another 10-game chat restriction when you start acting up again.

Riot would lose money cause they won't sell as many ip/xp boosts, so...not going to happen :(

They did, when they moved onto the 4 strike system they completely wiped existing punishments (except permabans) and gave everyone a clean slate. Hundreds of chat restrictions were wiped clean in an instant.
