failure to deal with unsportsmanlike behavior

So ive noticed the tribunal issues sanctions for "verbal abuse" but really all it seems to be is more than 1 person reporting- a flaming player can get u banned just for telling them to stop their fckng spamming.. and don't argue with me devs, cuz I've seen it.

People who spam pings, ping spam items, say "ez" at the end of games- these are all flaming, unsportsmanlike behaviors that I consistently see nothing done to deal with. I have to mute atleast one team mate every single game because they spam and when I politely ask them to save the pings for what they are designed for instead of spamming they go full on flamer. You do nothing- these players are doing this specifically to lessen the game play experience for other players. as for saying "ez" at the end of a game- I don't care which team I am on I report those players for verbal abuse every single time- it is the epitome of unsportsmanlike behavior and if riot doesn't start dealing with these participation trophy children then those of us who want to have fun will be left with no recourse except to develop 3rd party software to bypass your system and deal with them ourselves in a more direct manner.

like- im being serious, this is no threat to riot- your failure to deal with problem players harms the entire community and those of us that enjoy it and watch you do nothing are running out of options and I myself am running out of patience. I used to spend money on this game to support the company and all that for these stupid skins and whatnot- but I haven't in more than 2 years because you fail to deal with these people. Those of us that have done coding can deal with it if you opt to continue to allow these toxic players to ruin our game.

Deal with the ping spammers. deal with the unsportsmanlike conduct. I could not care any less about your story lines to go with your skin- that doesn't add to the actual play whatsoever. deal with the people that take away from the play.

also- I checked with https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201752884-Reporting-a-Player and I can tell you that the system doesn't follow this guideline at all. for instance- when 3 of us report the same player I usually receive a penalty notification VERY quickly, sometimes before I can join a new game. Why you guys gotta lie in your official posts?

Multiple people reporting someone doesn't make the system ban any faster.

However: If multiple people think someone is worth reporting, they've stepped over the line for each of those people. That means the level of poor behavior likely to be worse than if they only stepped over one person's line.

In other words, it's not multiple reports that draw a faster ban, it's behavior that triggers a faster punishment that draws multiple reports.

So you remember when report weight was a thing. As far as I could tell, the system used the heaviest report to determine how close to a Tribunal case the account was. The worse the behavior, the more like to draw heavier reports. Again, it wasn't the number of reports, it was punishable behavior drawing more--and heavier--reports.

Threatening to hack the system isn't a good way to get your point across.

You really think WRITERS should be put onto player management?

They've literally posted the code that handles reports. 1 report == 9 reports.
