Blocked Players vs Banning Players

I block players I don't want to play with for various behavioral traits. Yet I continue to get stuck in matches with these ppl. If you won't change blocked plz create a banned item so we can ban undesirables, and not have to participate in matches with them.

You are not so important as to ruin other players' queue times and matchmaking integrity just because you think other players are the reason you aren't climbing or having fun.

There is something to be said for not wanting to be placed with an aggressively toxic person again in game. Still, matchmaking integrity>avoiding playing with those who you don't like. Ideally if they're really so toxic that you never want to play with them ever again, they should be banned promptly.

The report feature ensures that player is punished if the behavior is consistent. If the behavior isn't consistent, then it's unlikely they'll be toxic again in a game anyway.

Basically exactly what you said at the end :)

In a fantasy dream world, people would only use a block function on toxic players to never queue with them again, eventually enough players would do the same and said player wouldn’t get games because of his nature.

Sadly, this is the real world and as we can see with op, said function wouldn’t be used for it intended purposes and people like him would throw the game out of wack.

it creates an opening to manipulate matchmaking and it's not going to happen

blocking only blocks all communication

Most likely this would just raise your queue time because if this were a thing most players would "ban" / Blacklist almost eveyrone they come in to contact with. It would make more problems than it would solve. Especially when there are mute options and the ability to just mind your own play.
