Offensive Name? Not sure.

Hey. (First post btw) Recently changed my name to ''Huge Ballsack'' ingame, and now I wonder, can I get banned for this? I mean, in my opinion its not offensive to anyone, but does it class as a ''bad'' and offensive name?

Just a thought, remember C9 Balls? Its almost the same name i guess? His name was not offensive to anyone and still played in like LCS and stuff. Anyone with professional knowledge to answer this question?

Thanks!

Agreed.

As long as it's not aimed at anyone and/or anything it can pass. But you never know. Kids today get offended by everything.

Yes, thats what im thinking aswell. If i wreck someone in lane and they get salty they might see my name as a reportable reason.. sadly :p

Personally I think it's a bit childish, but not offensive enough to get you banned. If you want to make sure though, contact player support directly.

And risk having them insta-flag you and ban you before you even get reported in-game?

I don't know about you, but I would prefer immediately knowing to spending X time in anxious uncertainty.

Besides, I believe Rito does not ban for names (citation needed). they replace your usename with something randomly generated and you'll get a prompt to choose a new name.

As I mentioned below the names should have the same ''offense''.. And yeah, the name is childish, but come on - who doesnt like a giggle in champ select :^)

"balls" and "huge ballsack" aren't really the same at all. You should be fine, though.

Well, i class both names to have the same ''offense'', if there is any will say.

i dont know what to tell you i have had this name forever

Balls and Ballsack is entirely different. I don't know if your name is considered offensive, I'd just not worry about it.

(advertised ball sack that holds 12 not small indeed)

Is only dirty if your thinking about sex, meanwhile sports fans have no issues.

You agreed to not use a summoner name that is deemed "offensive, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, sexually explicit, racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable."

I suppose that what is offensive, obscene or sexually explicit is in the eye of the beholder but to me it just doesn't seem like it's worth the risk. It also gives (wrongfully admittedly) the impression that you are a troll.

In the end though, all Riot may do is simply require you to change your summoner name. Personally, I wouldn't have risked using a name like that, but hey, it's your judgement call and you are the one who accepts the consequences of your actions.
