Alright, so I got done with a game, and I was having a good time, had a little verbal disagreement in game, and then I get a message, saying I got permanently suspended for "extreme nature of toxic behavior". My account has been banned once for 14 days, and I do have some history of toxic behavior, but me and a teammate of mine got into a verbal disagreement, he complained I didn't leash, I got mad at him because he started getting toxic with me, and then I get permanently suspended? League of Legends enforcers, please explain why this happened. I'm really confused.

Because you ignored the warnings of your previous 5 penalties.

If you have a question about the chat logs, post them here and I'd be happy to comment.

You broke the "bend over and take it policy" riot has implemented. See, irl most people are taught to stand up for themselves or else people would run them over. Can't do that here.....:(

You are responsible for your own behavior. Your teammate is responsible for theirs.

Let's try that scenario with a slightly different response:

Your teammate complains about not getting a leash. You mute him. You no longer see his toxic behavior and can focus on winning your lane. Maybe he starts complaining in /all chat, but your opponents are more likely to think "What a jerk" about his comments and report him (not you), especially if they see no response to it from you.

He tries to report you, but you've muted him and kept your chat clean with everyone else, so the report gets thrown out. You report him (along with anyone else he's annoyed) and he's the one who will get in trouble.

Posting the chat logs would be the best way to find out exactly what was the source. You'll find the chat logs by trying to log in.

As others have stated, you'll need to be extremely careful after a 14-day ban.

You have a mute button. Arguments don't really help.

You are judged on your words when you're reported. It doesn't matter if others are toxic. All you can do is mute and report them at the end of the game. You cannot and should not try to take justice into your own hands.

If you've already been banned for two weeks, then the next punishment is a perma. If that teammate reported you, its very likely you were banned due to the "little verbal disagreement".

wow i wonder why.

You answered your own question. You have a history of toxic behavior and you mad in game at someone, so you get banned. It doesn't matter who did it first. Perma bans can only occur after multiple punishments, so you probably got off of a 14 day ban somewhat recently.

After someone gets off of a 14 day ban they have got to be super careful, the next punishment is always a perma. Obviously you weren't careful enough to reign in your anger and Riot to the only step that was left.
