I have literally started playing League of Legends this week. I have been playing with two friends and I am a very level headed person and refuse to talk to anyone in the chat because it only causes problems. I don't respond to people who try to provoke arguments. But I login today and I get this. I haven't even spoken in the chat for anything, let alone to say offensive language. I hope this doesn't effect my profile in anyway.

Also my username is Adamei.

If you know you've done nothing wrong, then this is nothing to worry about. Riot implemented a fast-feedback system in order to let players know that they've been reported. It doesn't validate the reports before giving this notice at all, so it doesn't actually mean your account is in bad standing or anything. It only means that somebody decided to report you in a recent game. Before any punishments go out, the system will review a case and validate the reports made against the player, so these invalid reports won't hurt you at all.

That just tells you that someone reported you, but if you did nothing against the summoner code then they can report you all they want but you will not be punished so rest assured.

The warnings aren't punishments. They don't do anything. They're only there for you to reflect on your behavior.

This is nothing to worry about dude. I've been helping my friend learn the game recently and this report just means that someone reported you. Riot isn't validating it, it's just the system going "Hey, this happened, FYI. Maybe look at your behavior and if it is something, work on fixing it." It's not a big deal at all. I've gotten a few of them after a really bad game.

Don't take it too personally. Most, if not all, players will receive at least one warning in the game.

People will report you for a verity of reasons: playing X champ they like/dislike, getting a kill, dieing, talking, breathing, pinging, etc. Sometimes you get these as a lot of people will spam report, and give people false reports. This can give you that warning, esply when more then 3 people false report or trick the enemy team into reporting you for XYZ.

I had this once and I am pretty sure no one reported me because i couldnt remember talking offensively... but i did spam F$#K when dynamic que first came out because i was in que for 45 minutes and I was only Silver 2. But i was in Chat alone and after spamming F$#K alone to myself about 25 times because I was so bored is when I got that message. So I thought it was just Riot tracking bad words and not that anyone reported me for anything. Maybe you said it a lot just talking to your 2 friends even though it didnt matter?

I dont know how true this is btw if they log and send, or if you can only get this by getting reported.

probably a misclick, where someone meant to ban the guy next to you and missed. I wouldn't worry about it. Welcome to League! Do you have any questions on anything in the game you'd like me to take a crack at? I suck at this game, but I've helped a couple newbie friends of mine into this cancer and would love to help.

Ive been reported for offensive language and verbal abuse when i say things like "Please stop feeding and play safe" to a teammate whose 2/11, so i wouldnt worry about it.

I need a 3rd party addon that I can configure to replace "omg poopy language that makes people cry" with "i love you" or "puppies and kittens". That way I can get the satisfaction of typing "GO Puppies and Kittens yourself, you I love you mother Puppies and Kittens Puppies and Kittens loving Puppies and Kittens", and none of the legit report associated with it.

OR.... a way to ban chat in champ select, AND in game, AND in post game for everyone. I wonder if there is a limit to how many mutes you can have on your account... I mute everyone every single game.... and I have played thousands of games...

So, basically this reporting concept gives Riot a sort of notification that they should look at your chat for that game, if you actually do not type in chat, you cannot exactly get punished for not saying anything. And it takes A LOT of reports where they see you were being toxic before you get punished, so honestly you shouldn't worry too much, this happens a lot.

That's because you got in queue with enough angry little kids upset about losing, and decided to try and ruin somebody else's day.
