I've been playing since season 2, and have thousands of games on record. Never been warned for language or anything like that. Having fun playing ARAMS late o'clock with some people online. Team starts harassing a kid for playing randomly selected champions poorly. Solo queue again, same people same team. IMMEDIATELY start bagging on the dude mentioned before. Get in game, they continue telling him he's garbage and stuff. My comments- "Just have fun %%%%%%s, and stfu." another player adds: "yeah %%%%%%s" and "I can say it because I'm gay" so I jokingly respond, "I can say it because I hate gays".... reported... and 14 day suspension. First off) If this was my real opinion, why are my view points being diminished by the staff? Second) Why haven't I received a warning? A 14 day ban? Third) The rest of my games, and game were casual. No more language. Four) I don't want an appeal I want to know why it's acceptable to ban people without any form of recourse? I cant appeal? I can't argue my case?

It is worthy of a 14-day suspension, yes. Both those censored words are hate speech and, quite simply, hate speech has no place in League.

Riot expects you to know hate speech isn't funny, or welcome. Riot expects you to know that homophobia is extremely unwelcome in their community.

If you decide to make homophobic remarks or use hate speech, they have no intent to hold back the hammer. If you use hate speech, you don't deserve a warning.

Doesn't matter. The IFS functions on a basis of consistency and severity, and hate speech is pretty fucking severe. It's zero-tolerance chat, and met with a 14-day ban.

hate speech is never okay and is nothing to joke about and riot takes it seriously by giving a 14 day ban. that is the warning. it is their community and you sign the terms and conditions so you follow their rules

I don't know, I'm one of those people who's never been banned for being rude.
