Petition for report button in champ select

I understand there may be some reasons why Riot has not implemented a report button in champ select. However, I think it would really deter champ select trolling. Currently, players know they can troll champ select and force a dodge with absolutely no consequences since nobody even knows where to report these players (you can submit a ticket for this if you didn't know btw). Please add a report button for at least champ select trolls who induce dodge by going nunu with ghost and cleanse or whatever. You literally do not even have to ban one person, this button will be highly effective. There used to be a "report for unskilled", remember? This should be similar, you don't have to take action on every report, but having the button there will deter players from trolling since its just so easy for 4 players to instantly report them. Upvote if you agree. TY. Also, someone who makes good threads make a better thread than mine please if you think this will improve the league experience.

If you dodge the game. the game never happened and therefore any trolling that you want to report the person for could have not of happened. The intent to Troll/INT can not be proven until the player actually doses it in game. or admits to doing so in chat.

Even if it might seem to be somewhat obvious to you that the person might troll doses not mean for a fact they will. Riot will not punish people for something that might happen. Riot will punish for it when it happens enough that it can be proven beyond reasonable doubt that the person is trolling. Selecting a troll pick and summoner spell combo is NOT hard proof of trolling. At best it is just suggestive of trolling. Furthermore your not allowed to control what your team mates pick for champs or spells or runes. That is their own choice even if it might seem troll to you. Maybe it works for them. Riot will not give you the tools to try to pressure someone into picking something that is meta.

Funfact: Sometimes, people forget they don't have smite. I've had a few draft games where my jungler forgot smite, and when checking their match history the lane they were in most? Anything that wasn't jungle. It happens, you can't always blame them. Especially if they actually TRY to do something, whether it be trying to jungle or them duo-laning with top until they can safely clear the jungle.

As Trundamere has said, it doesn't mean their trolling/going to troll. I build zhonyas on Caitlyn, does that mean I'm trolling? No, it just means I'm giving a big middle finger to the enemy Zed. I always take exhaust mid. Does that mean I'm trolling? No, I just prefer it over ignite.

And we DO need hard evidence. If every little, tiny, minuscule little thing got seen as trolling... literally Riot wouldn't have a player base. EVERYONE does something that looks like trolling. Hell, I recall in the middle of lane as the support when the enemy team can see me, and half the time it baits them. Is that trolling? It looks like it, but it's not. I have a friend who flashes at the start of the game because all they play is bots, but they still play the game like a normal person. Is that trolling? Nope.

If you don't want to deal with people "trolling", play with a team of 5 instead of getting mad at randoms for doing things they find fun to do that isn't trolling.

How will it deter any more than the current system? You can report for champ-select behaviors in the post-game screen.

Also, don't forget that riot keeps track of the % of times that a teammate has dodged champ select, and will audit accounts that have a suspiciously high %.
