So people can be toxic to me and then report me and i get the toxic chat ban?? riot fix this!!

So let me get this straight these kids are duo q, they are toxic as hell, then try to off their loss off on it being someone elses fault and when someone tells them to stop and be quiet, they use that and report you or act like they are being targeted by toxicness, and report you and get you chat banned? Do you guys even look at the damn game chat and review it before you just issue a chat ban? this needs to be fixed this happens waaaaay to often to people. if people are just gonna report me for nothing and I get punished for it, whats stopping me from just going all out and actually being toxic? a chat ban? it seems i'm gonna get that anyways so..fix this or you'll lose more then just a few angry people, most of my friends are already looking for a reason to leave this game cause its getting to be so ignorant.

How about you just use the mute button and report them afterwards?

If you really want to make them upset, if you really feel the need to get back at them, just say "lol get muted kid" after muting them. They start foaming at the mouth and it is great.

Then, with no responses, they tire themselves out and stop talking.

that's a good idea, i'll try that. but chances are they will just get mad and report me and knowing riot, will not proof read anything and will just issue penalty's. it shouldn't come to the point to where I either have to mute a toxic person or me myself get penalized for them acting like a 7 year old that didn't get his way.

Of course Riot doesn't proof read anything. You really expect them to hire a sweatshop full of immigrants just to individually comb through every single chat log? The thousands and thousands of chat logs? No, of course not. It's a bot. If you don't say anything to trigger the system, there's nothing to get punished for.

its true, but I've seen people just try to simply help by pointing out what someone is doing wrong that's why they died in a certain situation get 14 bans already, like the simple fact that riot isn't lazy enough to take your money for skins and champs and other stuff, but when it comes to actually taking action on the thing they stress hard about(toxic community) they let their computer bots handle it and oh its doing a wonderful job.

Unsolicited advice = more tilt = more chat = more flam = more chat restricts

This is what happened to me, except Riot also basically flipped me a bird and feels that I'm not entitled to a refund on a purchase made an hour before a 14 day ban.

They don't care. Just save your breath. It's certainly not worth my time, and it probably isn't worth yours.

I wish you the best, it's hard having so many people yell at you, so for what it's worth, I'm sorry.

I use to love this game, now a days this game is just full of cry babies that if they lose in game they feel the need to try to win by blaming/flaming a teammate and getting them banned to show it wasn't their fault and riot lets this happen, game went from being really good to really bad in so short a time, finding more and more reasons to quit this game and bring more of my friends that play this game to other games. im sure the toxic children will bring riot enough income to go off of, or they will get their heads out of their butts and actually do what needs to be done and fix this issue.

From the perspective of a large corporation, one or two people don't really matter. I've been at this over the course of multiple years now, and I have been led to feel unwanted as an individual in the community and in general. The problem is the people who flame and BM always seem to get away with all of it, unscathed. The minute I express my opinion on the Boards, the overwhelming majority of responses support this sentiment. What I experienced last night is the straw that broke the camel's back, Riot's made it abundantly clear that they don't care about the interests of the older player base, and that they simply don't care due to finances.

If anyone challenges this, I've yet to be told otherwise.

I'm most definitely quitting this waste of energy for a whole lot more than just this alone, but it's certainly convincing enough to allow me to see the truth of it all.

Belittling and insulting them over their behavior is still belittling and insulting them.

The report tool isn't there so you can use it to attack them in chat over their behavior. It's there so you can report them.

Just because somebody started it doesn't give you the right to engage in toxic behavior yourself. You still have neutral teammates that you're hurting by engaging in a pissing match mid-game rather than minding your own business. The only proper response when somebody is flaming you is to mute, report, and move on.
