Trolling is a bannable offense and this is obviously a form of trolling, why isn't there a punishment for it?

It is not obviously a form of trolling. There are many legitimate reasons to ban any specific champion.

If they troll after that, like insulting your pick, taunting after banning it, or whatever, those things are all punishable. Report them for the punishable things they do.

It's just that, it's a grey area. They may have legit reasons for banning a champ: ensure you're not counter picked, would be the primary reason. But I do get the frustration of not getting the champ you want. You should still report it, with a note about the pregame lobby.

Banning a teammates pick because they think they may get easily counted or because it is an "out-of-meta" champion is not a legitimate reason imo

There's a litany of reasons that they might ban a champ. I've had it happen to me before, with no explanation. It's pretty angering. But the fact is, there are good reasons to banning a champion.

If they said something malicious during champ select, then you should include that in your report.

No that's you, you think the world is against you and every ban is "To stop you from having fun" when in reality some people just don't like the enemy having certain champs.
