A lot of 3rd party ban without actually using one.

Hello Summoners,

I have been permanently banned too, supposedly due to 3rd party program usage when I did not use any. I have seen that a lot of people have created posts that have been downvoted by the community who thinks they are only liars and Riot does not make mistakes.

However, I would like to add my grain of salt to this discussion, since I am kind of salty myself :)

First of all, I have written a ticket to the support, and despite the obvious copypasta (certainly due to the numbers of tickets written), the response has been quick and appropriate. The rioter was kind enough to let the ticket open, so I asked him to investigate it, knowing that this must be an error (I did use skins modifications once or twice because Majiin Buu Zac looked awesome back in season 3 but not ever since, due to building a new computer right after; but we know this can't be the reason). He gave me another answer that the ticket was transferred to a more appropriate service that could investigate it and come back to me. I am writing this while waiting for an answer.

I know I did not use any third party program. My account is 6 years old and I started playing even before season 1 even started in the exact same conditions. The only thing that changed is that I enabled Shadowplay last month and it is the ONLY possible thing that was detected.

So, instead of downvoting this post, I would like you to understand my condition (I had every champions, a huge amount of legendary skins and legacy skins that cannot be purchased anymore) and probably the situation of many players who have been wrongly accused.

This is why I would like to shed light on this problem and bring it to the attention of a Rioter who could investigate these false positives.

I am looking forward to having my account back :)

Now I don't know if you have this, or if you've considered doing something similar, but I have something called AMd gaming evolved control center. This allows me to record my games and save the replays on my system for later review. Any game capturing software should be more than enough to protect yourself from future accusations. (Provided you are telling the truth.)

I am sorry to hear about your punishment, but all I can do is suggest methods from preventing it in the future.

I'm in the banned for nothing boat as well, although player behaviour stuck to the vague (for good reason) we-detected-exploits line.

So, hopefully you have better luck than I did on that one.

Another possibility is that anyone checking the files won't be able to see a false positive (if the system detects it's malicious, that might be all they see even if the system is in error), in which case, stick to your ticket (threads on the forum likely won't be read by the appropriate staff anyway) and hope they realize something's up.

Any sufficiently large system will inevitably have false positives or errors, and mostly it's up to how much Riot cares for them.
