First time ban immediately 14 days. Next time permaban?

So I finally got a ban from the tribunal telling me that I got a two week suspension for intentional feeding. Yes, I went 2/16 with a Jhin and I can't deny the fact that at some point me dying turned from a bad game to a lack of interest and giving up. However, I never go into a game with an incentive of feeding and ruining it, but in this one it was the other teammates' attitude that was unacceptable as well. I know that other people's actions should not determine mine and I agree with that, but they should at least be punished too for their behaviour.

What actually worries me is that im pretty sure that I never received a time ban before on my account, especially for feeding, unless that happened while I was away and someone else played. From what I read there is a 3 day ban first, then a week, then two weeks, and then a permaban. From what I know I received the two week ban as a first time punishment. I only ever got one or two warnings, but those were not because of feeding. So my question is, would that mean that if I get a second suspension, that would already be a permaban? That seems pretty harsh to me because I constantly read about people getting multiple suspensions and being able to improve and reduce their time again and that you would really have to try to get a permaban. But this is exactly why I don't understand having a 14 day suspension as my first punishment.

From what I read there is a 3 day ban first, then a week, then two weeks, and then a permaban.

These punishment tiers were from a long time ago, back when people could vote in the Tribunal. As of right now, the punishments go:

1.) 10 game chat restriction 2.) 25 game chat restriction 3.) 14 day ban 4.) Permanent ban

However, this is used for chat related offenses. For intentionally feeding, the first punishment is intended to be a 14 day ban, with the next punishment being a permanent ban.

You can avoid having a permanent ban next, though, if you don't behave like this again, and after I believe 3 months you will be dropped back down to a 14 day ban if you get punished for intentionally feeding again.

Intentional feeding is always 14-day ban for first punishment since they turned up the Automatic Intentional feeding detection system since Aug-2015.

I don't know about anything before that time.

Your 2nd punishment is probably permaban.

Is it harsh? Sure. Intentional feeding ruins the games a lot more than toxic players. Is there a chance for reform? Most probably. Just keep trying to win instead of giving up.

Selling all your AD items and buying AP items at 31 minutes as Jhin probably wasn't the best idea.

Theres still so much for you to learn in the game. If you do find it to be a unwinnable game, just acknowledge that you can win and work on some other mechanics such as map awareness.

Once I get past 10 deaths at 16 minutes and my team has the same and the enemies have 2 inhibs and none of us have no towers...

I just sit in base knowimg.. none of us were cut to carry this..

If you're being isolated or frequently picked out over other champions in the match...then you need to jungle. If you got a JG'r already, just leash em for a bit. Don't run out and do a 4v1 or whatever...wont help you in the long run.

When you get off your ban, if you die more than 3 times in the first 15 minutes, kick back and "guard" the base and poke for awhile until you generate enough coin to beef up. Also try to coordinate team ganks or rushes.

If you're doing ARAM and just get wrecked...well, that's a different scenario...same with CS or TT. Be leery of your team mates surroundings... Play your role like you're a support or solo'n top. If you're catching some salt, just say this: The Salt is flowing strong today... Leave it at that and ignore chat.

Overkill,

It might have part to do with you selling all your AD items to buy AP items.

I would assume that is a big red flag for Riot's Feeder detection system.

Good luck when you get back from the suspension!

Yes, the next punishment will be a permanent ban. After 3 months of your 2-week ban ending, the punishment tier will drop. Meaning, the next punishment will be another 2-week. If you go 3 more months without that second 2-week ban, it'll drop to the 25-game, so on and so forth.

Giving up mentally and throwing the game is the worst type of person to be grouped with. Hopefully they perma you.

While I wasn't there, this sounds pretty lame from your perspective. Sorry mate. I just got my first 14 dayer as well. Not too worried about it. I really went above and beyond to get it. Should've been permabanned years ago, but usually play well so people forget to report me.

I completely disagree with "Other people's actions shouldn't affect mine." That is the premise of this whole game. Someone fucks up, you capitalize on it.

since when has there been a 3 day ban to a week ban?

you probably said something in chat about feeding and with that record, they tagged you.
