Sorry enough to refrain from repeating it? Or just sorry that you were punished for it i.e. suspended / banned?

To me, personally, the words "I'm sorry" hold as much water as a barrel with a bunch of holes in the bottom. The misconception is that because you say "I'm sorry," everything is forgiven and it's all forgotten about. That doesn't work for me. Serial killers say they're sorry. Doesn't mean there is any truth behind the phrase. Especially when they, you know, kill again.

So, as I said, how sorry are you? And in what context are you sorry? Sorry enough to reform or sorry that you got punished?
