Thanks, Riot, for more spammable emotes!

It didn't take long for the kids to find a new way to be obnoxious all game long. LOL! Who could have predicted that? Oh, everyone.

Emotes are intended as a way to quickly convey a thought/information to your team without having to type. Thus avoiding the "eeeeeerwwwqwqqqqqqqqqqqrrrr" and then "shit i just died my chat box was open" moments that occur.

If someone's abusing them in a way that makes you uncomfortable or angry, you can easily mute their emotes on the TAB overview screen.

You don't even mute emotes at all?

Yeah, I know what they were intended for, and I know they can be muted. It would also be very easy for Riot to add a cooldown to them so that they can't be spammed all game long. They choose not to and instead encourage this kind of immature behavior. It doesn't tilt me or anything. I'm just calling out Riot's obvious bad decision making.

let me guess: somebody spammed the ff@20 emote and you got angry because you kept dying to said person repeatedly.

this gives you two options: muting the emotes

or just not dying to said person. it's very simple.
