Chat restriction because reported by 3 people who's club name is "phuq"

They trolled their team, baited them, and were all around rude during and before the game. Because of their club name, and me mentioning it, the automatic system was triggered. I had literally just completely reformed the game before, by behaving much better than the trolls on my teams (yes, about 70% of games have a troll) and doing my best not to validate their actions. This is the primary game on the suspension chat log list, and the suspension was obviously triggered by me mentioning their club name.

Notice the mention of the word shit and trash was in direct response to being called the same by the troll on the team. The troll in game 2 was literally drunk, and would spam the laugh emote next to us while we fought. Game 3 was a large amount of back and forth due to the support Thresh blaming me for his mistakes, and then trolling me by standing right next to me while I fought an enemy champ, spamming laugh, then dropping a lantern when i , or the opponent, were at 5% hp.

As such, I request the following-

  1. Un-restrict my chat.
  2. Un-restrict my eligibility for hextech.
  3. Delete the aforementioned club for naming policy. Possibly suspend or ban their accounts for the same.
  4. Compensate me via RP or a Vi/Blitz skin.
  5. Apologize and admit the system is wrong, publicly, in this post.

Are not evidence of a person being a troll. It's evidence of making different decisions that you don't agree with. Judging from that behavior (and other behavior during those three games), you seem to judge many people who play poorly, to be trolling. Playing poorly does not mean they are trolling. And even if they were trolling, is insulting them suppose to convince them to stop?

If they were trolling, insulting them is just going to encourage them to troll more. If they were just playing poorly unintentionally, insulting them doesn't exactly help either.

Yeah, you missed the part where the chat log stated they spent all game laughing at their team. And the one where the Gragas was helping the enemy team by bouncing them away immediately after I grabbed them. And the one where the DRUNK TRUNDLE PLAYER WAS TROLLING EVERYONE. You should really stop playing devil's advocate, because the only reward for defending the devil is a "better" place in hell. As I am not sure you will get the analogy made there- it means the only thing you are doing by defending trolls is making more of them.

If you think they're a troll, did you really think that insulting a troll, a person who by definition, is just trying to make you angry, would make them stop? Report them, and move on.

Would you stop blaming the victim here? If you can't see that being the victim of multiple trolls, in multiple games, causes someone to get a bit peeved, then I really think we are not on the same page here.

Not to sound sarcastic, but I can tell that you stopped playing summoners rift long ago due to players such as the ones I encountered, and moved on to other modes of play (primarily bot vs player and events such as poro king and URF) .

I truly believe you are out of touch with the current state of the game, and ust how bad the trolls have become- that is, unless you use another account for your "rifting".

You keep on making assumptions about me. I've stopped playing summoners rift because the friends that have played that mode now prefer other modes. And I only play with friends for the most part.

The difference is that youve played 3 games in the past week, 2 of which are poro king. The modes you play are vastly different in terms of the amount of trolls. Trolls don't play team-queue dominion, especially when you are queuing with a group yourself...leaving little room for trolls on your team. I was playing 3 games...per hour and 10 mins. When it comes to having a pulse on the community, I can tell you this- The community that plays one mode of the game is not the same one that plays another mode- especially when it comes to "rift" vs "ARAM". In Aram, you arent forced to endure the same troll for 20-30 minutes, and their actions may not be as effective as in "rift" as the mode is meant to be a "I don't care" mode.

Hey, no need to start resorting to the sailor-speech here. A simple "Heck" or series of ellipses would suffice. The issue is the 2 are directly tied together- I would hazard a guess that their club trolls people in multiple games, simply based on their name. What is really odd is how quickly you resort to curse words, where it literally took me being cursed out and trolled for about 10 games straight (roughly 5 hours) before I finally got tired and shot some words back. Chill out- you don't need to be so hostile.

As you can probably guess- I did my research on your posts and games played.

Based solely on the content of your posts...you do appear to believe yourself to be "more important" and a "better member" of the community than others whom have not resorted to cursing out people like a sailor at the first sign of disagreement.

However, this is not about you, or how you may or may not wish to become an Arbiter. This is about an indiviual, and group of people who are now choosing to take their hundreds elsewhere to spend on a game that doesn't include someone who curses them out in every match, and on the forums as well.

Again, you are picking and choosing what evidence to use. Unlike you, I spent WEEKS dealing with people constantly trolling, at least 3 times a night.

I do hope you realize that, unlike your 2 minutes, it took me weeks of having to put up with people who behave in your manner before I got fed up with it. You are a troll, masquerading as helpful.

While I do appreciate the information contained in your posts- I do not appreciate the sentiment behind them.

As I stated before, you may wish to rethink why you were not chosen to be given the role you may have sought, or currently be seeking. It just might have something to do with how quickly you resorted to cursing out a member of the community.

In short- please stop seeking to justify your sailor-speech. You made that mistake, and you can't undo it via personal attacks and attempting to discredit others.

I never said it was not wrong how I spoke, even if in response to blatant trolls who were cursing out their entire team.

You, however, seem to believe deflecting blame by saying "someone else did worse at some point" or "at least I didn't do what you did" is a viable argument.

At this point, I am going to ignore further posts from you on this particular topic. If you wish to start a more civil discussion wherein you are not attempting to undo your words by blaming others for theirs in a very remotely related conversation, please do so.

In case you didn't realize this- this is how i normally engage in discourse. Not the pent-up rage from weeks of being trolled constantly and not seeing any results from the vast majority of my post-game reports detailing the drunks, trolls, and toxic members of the community.

I do not resort to curse words within 2 paragraphs normally, nor do I expect others to do so.

Looking back, I am quite happy that I and my friends have found an "out" of this toxic game after being lured back by the promise of hectech-related goodies and treats. Overwatch is looking mighty fun in comparison.

It's not deflecting blame. Both parties are at fault when one person trolls and another person starts raging in chat. When you are punished for behavior, it is only your behavior that is considered. This doesn't mean that both parties won't be punished, it means that the system will scan them as individuals.

Well, good to know that. I do appreciate someone whom doesn't resort to certain methods actually addressing one of my concerns, even if it was with a prefabricated form letter. On the off chance you actually read this- you can inform the forum mods, or whomever you report to, that there will be one less support player, and about 100 less dollars than there would have been spent, on the books in terms of players.

Kinda sad that as a main support player, the trolls on both the forums and in-game have guaranteed I and my friends will not play this any longer.

On the bright side- I can spend that money on a couple new games instead.

If someone replies to you in a negative manner, I'd suggest not responding back to them. You're just going to get the same kind of reply back and it usually escalates from there.

Arbiters are player volunteers, if you were under the impression we were Rioters. Forum moderators are a third party hired by Riot.

If you're having an issue with players on the boards, as I mentioned you should simply ignore them. You can be the better person and give them a positive response, but if you or they continue making inflammatory remarks it'll just escalate from there. You can report their comments if you feel they are harassing you, but don't do it back to them and don't egg them on.

If you're having issues with players in-game, mute and report them. Just like toxic discussions on the forums, just ignore them and don't add to it. They'll be judged for their own behavior and you'll be judged for yours.

If you don't like the game anymore you're free to move on, and I wish you the best of luck. As a free-to-play game it'll be here if you ever want to come back, at no cost.

Sorry, the striking similarity to all of Riot's pre-fab responses gave me the feeling that it was another copy-paste response from a clipboard of responses.

I and my friends have already dropped the game once before, and were lured back by the hextech system. Unfortunately, there are a large number of players who find great joy in making sure no one they encounter can reap the rewards of the system.

As such, we are dropping the game forever, and moving on to one that encourages and respects those who care for the game, as opposed to the trolls who find great enjoyment in tormenting others. If I had to put a value on the amount we would have spent throughout the years if we had stayed, I'd hazard a guess at around 20k or so over a 4 year period, minimum.

Really, its fine though. There are many other games and things the money is better spent on than the skins for champions and such we would have gotten here.

A small addendum-

You may also make a note to whomever appointed the arbiters, or your group leader, that the responses from the toxic individuals who posted in this thread cost the company thousands in revenue.

I would greatly appreciate Riot knowing through some method that while the toxic community in game is costing them money, the same sort of people on their forums are costing them even more.

Phuq would never get u banned. Even if u used real word "F U C K" it would never get u banned, just flagged for rename. Phuq is not offensive so there is no reason to be changed

So, how does getting rid of the trolls work for you? Did you get any of them to reform, or at least permanently quit the game so far? If not, I'm afraid Riot still has you beat. And they manage to do all that without pissing off anybody except for the trolls they're banning.

look man, this is not about them. this is about you. what you did is wrong. you broke the summoners code. You can't break the rules, get punished for it, and then expect compensation. What they did may have been a problem in and of itself, but you know what. just report them and move on. then it would be their problem. but flaming and being toxic was not an appropriate respones and as i see it, there is no excuse for what you did. take the chat restrictions and deal with what you earned for yourself.

Addendum, the Gragas in game 1 used their ult 4 times to save an enemy champ by bouncing them away from a fight after I grabbed them with Blitz's Q. They had queued with 2 other people who were trolling from the club "Phuq".

On a side note- I was planning to buy RP, but after this issue from trolls who obviously do all they can to intentionally get people restricted, I think I am more likely to just drop the game altogether, and tell everyone I know to do the same. At least in Overwatch, they ban the trolls and cheaters, instead of restricting the victims.
