So... Why does this happen and no I did not lead up to this. I just got a friends request and inquired about where they know me from then this happened. I'm just baffled lol.

Sometimes when you're typing out of game it will type it in game, and vice versa.
I accidentally sent my LoL password to my friend over the battle.net client when trying to log in. Twice. Because of this. It was kinda embarrassing at the time because it was my ex of two years' name followed by a heart.
