Account banned WHY?

My account, just like many others it seems, has been banned for the "use of 3rd party/malicious software" which I have never ever used before. I feel like this is a pretty big mistake on Riot's end as I've seen may players across multiple regions experience this random ban. I want my account back and will fight this tooth and nail because I have NOT DONE ANYTHING WRONG. I just want to play the only game my PC can viably play and I want it fixed ASAP. I've spent thousands of dollars on this game and have not once ever violated the ToS. What's the deal?
