I have been watching TF Blade's streams recently, and I also saw this article. If you watch his stream, it encapsulates why the player behavior system is still garbage. Across all divisions, you have players who are ruining your game. Yet, you are the one held responsible for it. You are the one being punished.

My favorite part? One of the board rules for this section (player behavior) is to not argue context. This is just bewildering. Has anybody at Riot even studied for an English course? In which text have you analysed is context not important? How often do we hear things that are just taken out of context, and completely betray the speaker's intentions? I find it utterly ridiculous. I understand if it is just a few individuals who are complaining about this. But after watching TF Blade, even Yassuo, they have the exact same frustrations. These are literal Rank 1 players telling you to fix your system. Why can't you just listen instead of making a bunch of prestige skins? I understand you want profit and money. But come on, your greed needs a limit Riot.

He was punished for overt racism against the players on the server. It does not matter what others are doing, racism is not okay. Period.

These "rank 1 players" are not who Riot gives a fuck about. Riot cares about the millions of "normal" players who play the game and want to see a game free from toxic behavior that ruins their experience. Sure, Riot could be like CSGO and other games and allow people to flame all they want - but look at how successful League is compared to these games (hint: more successful).

Context is used by the IFS to determine punishments. Context is also conversed about in several threads on PB. There are no rules against talking about the context of a chat log.

Context IS used to determine if some part of a chatlog was against the rules or not.

Context IS NOT going to be used to determine if it was acceptable to break the rules or not.

Context never makes breaking the rules acceptable.

I don't have the time to reply to every comment. But from what I have glimpsed through, a lot of the comments just have not read my previous responses properly. If you read and think about what I have said, I'm sure you will find answers in my responses. It is undeniable that if Riot improved this system, the game will be better too. So, I do not understand why yall are complaining LOL.

"Hate the game, not the players."
