Riot, the company of badly moderated bans and horrible customer support?

Today my little brother, who is 10 years old, was BANNED for using 3RD PARTY PROGRAMS. He is 10 years old and wouldn't even know how to use cheats in game, and I play with him on a consistent basis and KNOW he doesn't use any 3rd party programs to alter the game. Because of this and all the time he spent trying to earn RP and IP to buy characters, he's completely destroyed from these goddamn clowns at riot.

It's absolutely ridiculous that Riot doesn't give any """""PROOF"""""" besides just giving us the usual copy paste shit so they don't have to do much work.

He put a lot of RP into his account for various skins and worked hard to save for that RP and for champions. He doesn't have much time to level up and buy them because hes in elementary school. The outlets for protesting a ban or whatever the hell they call it now doesn't exist. When you choose the option in support about suspended accounts, it doesn't even give you the goddamn option to talk about it. It directs you to some useless wiki page about their rules and stuff we don't really need to know about.

It almost seems like these slimy snakes at riot TRY to avoid putting any way of directly contacting customer service. To be honest, I don't blame them, because if that did exist i would be tearing the fuck out of an employee right now for these ridiculous actions.

For anyone else reading this besides one of the slimes at riot, I can GUARANTEE you 100% I know what the fuck I'm talking about and he never used any sort of 3rd party program. I KNOW I understand 3rd party programs better than these minimum-wage leeches and he never touched one. The closest his account has come to that sort of thing would be ME, playing on his account once or twice, just sitting in for half of a game or so. It's getting ridiculous how often I'm starting to hear about false accusations and meaningless bans. Sure it sounds like I came here to bitch a lot, but if anyone at riot reads this (doubt it rofl) how about you comment and do something useful for once instead of make little kids on league feel destroyed?

I dare you to delete this post. I'll just go post to Reddit and talk about your company more. I'm sure lots of people have things to say and more people read reddit anyway.

If you think I'm being too emotional or angry from this post, I can ASSURE you, Riot has earned this type of response.

after reading the first line i gotta ask right away: did your little brother ever visit "free rp/skins" pages? or give his password to any of his "friends"?

If I had to guess why a ten year old would be banned for 3rd party apps, it'd be for downloading something malicious that he didn't understand. I'd suggest doing a virus scan of his pc, as well as checking for "friendly" 3rd party programs like mklol.

Unfortunately, a lot of kids DO know how to cheat, while I don't condone it I admit it's not a hard concept to grasp if you browse the internet a bit. How do we not know you're simply covering for him?

Ridiculous but makes sense. It's like putting up a bunch of secret security cameras to catch a robber, but posting a map of all hidden cameras right in the front door. It makes the methods ineffective.

You don't own the account, and the amount of money you pay is irrelevant. Riot doesn't care if you spent money for content you're basically borrowing, since once you hit "agree" on the ToS, you said you agree that the content you buy with any currency is basically renting the privilege to use.

Because 99% of suspended accounts are suspended for a reason. There are a few exceptions on false bans which Riot fixes, but most of the time it's the same thing, "I spent money I should be able to do whatever I want!" not saying that's you, but generally people DO say these things.

You know more about a program that hacks things than the people who went to school for programming? Attacking Riot Games and their knowledge on what they do for a living isn't going to get you unbanned, at all. You need to be civilized with people.

You can't use/borrow other people's accounts willingly (AKA Account Sharing,) it's against the ToS...

I've personally had around 4-6 tickets submitted to Riot, whether it was asking for 20 RP to get a skin, or tech issues, and they've almost always have in the end helped me with my issues. Yes, I've gotten those bot replies, but with how many players LoL has, you have to expect they wouldn't hire millions of Customer Service people 24/7. The only issue still not resolved (but being resolved) I have is an issue between a Tournament/Riot communication, where I haven't gotten my prize yet, but it's being fixed as of this moment, even if it's taking awhile I know they're working to fix the issue.

TL;DR, we don't know if you're lying, but the way you present your arguments is rude and not helping your case. If it is true and your brother/you didn't use 3rd party software, I hope the account gets fixed. If not, you're making people waste a lot of time trying to get a rightfully banned account unbanned, and it won't do much in the end for either party.

also just saying: you playing on his account is against the rules account sharring can end in a permabann no matter if you are his friend or his brother

The game is rated for teens or higher, by the way.

Freaking out doesn't tend to paint a good picture OR earn any favor with support staff in your ticket.

Go about it as calmly as you can, when you get the automatic response, reply to it to reopen the ticket, and then they'll hopefully get an actual staff member on the case.

Any system large enough will inevitably have false positives -- rare or otherwise -- so it's stupid to 100% assume cheats. If you're positive about his innocence, then the main thing is just hoping riot cares enough -- if nobody believes there can be any false positives, there's no PR downside to leaving random people banned.

They usually seem pretty okay about things like this, though, although I don't know when it comes to scripting bans.
