Good Morning,

If you please and if you have some time please very much read this. in my oppinion League community need this. ( forgive me for my bad english )

Today i read about the Update of Honor system and i see this as a nice opportunity to help the toxic player reform them selfs. I am the only player in EU with the old 4/4 honor ribbons http://prntscr.com/fe21si and i want to tell you my oppinion.

League have a big problem with toxic behavior in game, many players are Permabaned for flame/troll, but the question is :

" Can a permaban help? "

I think we all know that permaban cant help, the true is that a permaban can do the situation worst than before. The reason is becouse the toxic player do not care anymore for his new account and he dont even try to "hold the beast" the true is that many times this player will be toxic in prοpose as "ravange".

We can take 2 examples :

1: Incarnati0n

2: Tyler1

Both players are Permabaned in row for toxic behavior, for them was like " SO WHAT? I play with a new account ". tyler1 has over 25 accounts permabaned, he still plays. This proof one more time that a permaban cant stop the toxic behavior.

But... what can we do? the solution is in the past with the help of future! What i mean?

Is there anyone who remeber the OLD - second chance system? if no let me speak about it :

"After Perma-ban the player was able to start a smurf account, if the account had possitive behavior until lvl 20 the old account was able for unban." only 10% of the toxic players are reformed and this is why Riot shut it down.

The system had many flaws and it was easy to get over it like :

1: Play cop until LVL 20

2: EXP Boost

3: Play only nomral with friend

4: Very little time

But even with those flaws that system reform 10% of the most toxic players in all league ( some of them play until today ) Is like you have a system to make the top 100 killers of america reform them selfs but only 10 of them PASS. Ok is not much but we speak for the worst of them. So in my oppinion dont close this plan, just update it. becouse now we cant reform no even those 10 of 100.

Now Riot Games have update the old tribunal system but the punishments as well

1: chat restrictions

2: Rank bans

3: Reform Card

As too Riot have and Rewards to "stop" the toxic behavior before it start.

1: End season rewards

2: mystery gifts

3: Hex-keys/box

This is what i mean past and future, if the old second chance system was able to reform 10% of the most toxic players so simple, with no much try, think about now.

My prososal to Riot games is to Use the Update of the new honor system to Open and update the second chance system too.

The honor system can "read" who is friendly player with no mistake.

TYLER1 :

Those days i read Post for Tyler1 ,this guy is the proof that a toxic player can reform , but he still banned again and again. this system can proof if he change or no. This system can proof that Riots Goal is to reform people and not to punish them.

My oppinion is that tyler1 deserve one opportunity for unban, we are all humans we all do mistakes

Singed support :

This player was near to permaban for no reason. i am sure that there is at least 1 player in all League who is permabaned for no reason or for fake reason. We all know that if you get permaban you can never get unban no matter what.

So if the second chance system opens again, somone who is underprivileged will be able to get his right back.

HOW THE SECOND CHANCE SYSTEM WILL WORK :

Every known player after permaban play with smurf account... we all know that... so...

After the Permaban the player will open a support ticket and he will ask unban , he will declares his Smurf account at LVL 1, he will play until the account hits lvl 30. After that his test will start.

Riot will lookout his smurf account or if he play with other accounts, they will take a look to his chat, reports, or honors he get and why he get them for long time or after many games ( no cop or custome )

If he Pass he will be able to get his banned account back, but.

The unbanned account will get :

1: 1000 games chat restrictions

2: 300 games Rank ban

3: No end season Rw ( for this season )

4: No hex-key/box for 1300 games.

I really think that every person deserve the oportunity he ask, Please dont speak for many opportunitys before the permaban... many players have never accepted those opportunitys and others uderstund their mistakes only after the big sock of the permaban. So please very much uderstund that every human do mistakes, and if he sorry for them ( honestly) he deserve our forgivness.

Riot have nothing to lose by trying this , is just a test that show the good will. Tyler1 will be able to get unban and community will be able to quit the toxic behavior for every.

Please very much dont let my bad english "eat" the idea, Faker cant speak english too ;D

thats my oppinion men, i am 100% sure that this will make out community much better and i hope i rioter will read and work on it. I will try to post it in their twitters too. I really believe that Rioters arent the bad persons that community believe and i dont think they like to ban people. they just try the best to make the game better. In my oppinion rioters want to unban persons if they can be sure for their change. So i hope this idea will help a lot.

Thank you very much for your time men & have a nice day ;)

Before receiving his ban-on-sight status, Tyler1 wore his perma-bans as if they were badges of pride. He did not change his behavior for several, several accounts. He's already had plenty of opportunities.

This...this really takes a lot of concepts and flips it right on its head. It's basically saying for Riot to hard leash the bad and/or worst kind of players to record and grant a second chance with conditions that are absurd in which even the typical player wouldn't want to even think to endure, reformed or otherwise. Using the examples you provided in Tyler1 and the Singed Support issue really don't make the point shine any better either, as they are two completely different matters. Not to mention you don't even further back up the purpose of even establishing Jensen and his place in the topic.

And why just "known" players? How many times do players have to bend the rules and screw their accounts in order to be known for the "second chance" in which they would be offered which at the time could be like the 5th or greater account iteration. They could easily avoid such restrictions if they wanted which to the average is probably a season, maybe twos, investment unless they're truly diehard to the game.

In fact, from the updated Honor System information, why should Honor from one account all of a sudden produce revival for another account? Whose to say a "known" toxic player desperate to reform will just fix honor in some way, shape, or form; to have the credibility right on that account. What would that prove for someone who would be that acknowledged to Riot for having a streak of account infractions? Of course I'm just throwing a guess at a possible hole in the system as is.

All together, your pitch started good to me until you started using examples with sour context, some rather indirectly leaned to Tyler1. It really makes this look like a long winded "Free T1" post using the recent news. Not that I feel I'm throwing any shade to the Tyler1 situation specifically. I don't give much of a damn about that anymore. But on the player sense however it just sounds prisoners to code shouting "Hey! If we fake it or force it like thise other big bad guys, we can probably get our lives back."

I agree with you. I have been permanently banned on 31 different accounts for toxicity (because I used to not shut up to trolls, and because I try to carry by shotcalling and people take it as me "Trying to be better" and take offence when I say stuff like "can you stop going into their jungle alone with no vision?") Anyway, I have made it now to level 23 without any restrictions whatsoever. And I don't bother with trolls anymore, it's not worth it really, I'm tired of starting over and losing the stuff I buy with RP to trolls and actual toxic people. It really (sorry Riot) does NOT make me toxic to talk a flamer down. It makes me a justicar. A protector of justice and truth... And Facts. If someone isn't doing well in game, that's fine. He's trying, that's not my problem... No one is perfect. But when I try to help them even, point out what they did wrong, makes people angry. Most people (aparently) aren't able to deal with not knowing everything and admiting help or that someone else does. So yeah, I stopped trying to help and I don't talk to people when they start being toxic and tilting on chat, just fullmute them, easy. Works wonderfully. So, my little tale, to let you know. I like your idea, and I am a real calm, trustworthy and decent human being, sadly having 31 banned accounts doesn't seem to reflect that, but simply put, people don't usually see past the bans, they would call me toxic and tell me to kms. Trying to make them see the truth behind the curtains doesn't actually do anything. People will do what they want to do and that's it, the only person you have control of is yourself. So I chose to "reform", AKA not caring about others as much (in this game).

Your idea though, I wish Riot would really look into. I would personally love, very very much to have my 2 old mains back, I would go through any "tests" or whatever to get them back. And I would gladly take those 1000 chat restricted games and 300 ranked bans (obligatory draft games). Sadly, it doesn't seem like your post got much attention at all, other than slight criticism, which is often the problem to begin with.

People have one thought in their heads and they go through with it no matter what, not giving a damn about what others have to say or considering their ideas, or even just discussing them.

Anyways. Hope a Rioter sees this... One day.
