Unfair permanent bans and lack of justice for griefing

I have been talking with riot support for a week now regarding my account, I was "toxic" in two ranked games to separate individual players who were inting and being toxic in champ select and the other griefing. I received a permanent ban for the games and the other players are still playing and throwing ranked games free to do whatever they want. I am disgusted with this community and how riot is handling these players. Actions speak louder than words and letting someone intentionally WASTE YOUR TIME repeatedly is OK to riot whereas a curse word can get your account suspended. This is incredible, and in my personal case I am being accused of being toxic in a game I have not had installed since 2014 and I had only started playing on this account in JULY of 2017. My response from riot was

"It appears you received a suspension in May this year and two chat restrictions last year. It is spaced out but still counts on your account since you did not play enough neutral/positive games in between these times to deescalate your punishment status."

I submitted more information and talked with the employees more and the best they could do for me was tell me

"I promise your specific account information is not a robotic response, sorry if it feels that way. I do see that you hit level 30 a little less than a month ago, and there are less than 200 games played in between the time of your suspension and the permanent ban"

Going beyond what was said I have leveled completely to 30 within the time period of July forward, which takes many games. I have received key fragments for my "good conduct" since July forward but yet I was still banned for the two games and accused of being toxic in a game I did not even have installed. I attempted to convince the inter in one of the games to at least try and even complimented them when they did try for a play or two. We had a decent chance of winning, but for whatever reason, instead they gave up 10 or 15 minutes in and kept at it until the game was unwinnable, and antagonizing me until I was the one that was "toxic" under riots terms. Now I have a permanent suspension on my account and I still see the players accounts active and I feel it is incredibly unfair.

you have 3 options going forward:

  1. continue to bitch and moan about how much riot is unfair

  2. make a new account and get over it

  3. play something else. nobody is keeping you here

You're continuously saying "July forward" but as the support agent said you only played around 200 games starting in July.

You played hundreds of games before July though. Was someone else on your account?

As its been brought up every time someone wants to claim that the report system doesnt work. Remember there is a different between something not working, and something that doesnt work well, The people who work at Riot have claimed NUMEROUS times that the system isnt perfect yet people like you always bring it up and claim it doesnt work. If you have a better system that can work better than what it does now by all means apply to work at riot, and make the codes to help improve.

But again just because they can catch and punished people who lash out in chat faster than trolls/intentionally feeders doesnt mean they favor it or only worry about toxic chat. All they need to do with toxic chat is have the system see what you said. You cannot deny that you wrote it, since there is proof.

Whereas Trolling/Feeding is much more difficult to prove. With feeding if you only go by numbers (which they obvious dont) then basically Supports and anyone who plays ARAM, or anyone new to the game would get ban. Its much more complicated to get a feeder because people have bad games. And like with toxic chat it needs to be consistent and frequent in order to be punished.

As with Trolling since everyones definition is different that is much more harder to prove, and because of that innocent people gets punished, but as per the rules Riot sets when they do find this error they will unban the persons account. But like i said everyone sees trolling as different. To some it could be as easy as just going Off Meta, which Riot has proved time and time again that is not punishable. But people still abuse the chat and report system to get people ban just because other people arent playing the champions they want them to play! It could even be a different set or build, but like going off meta this isnt punishable, but people still think that way.

Just saying its not all black and white like you think it is. But again like i said if you believe you can make it better by all means contact the people who work at Riot and give them the codes to make it very easy to tell when someone is trolling and not just having a bad game!

Another classical case of "The other guy wasn't punished"

  1. Inting takes time for Riot reviews, toxic chat like yours is easier

  2. Don't feed the trolls, just mute and report and move on.
