In my opinion the LeaverBuster should either be:

  1. Shorter time
  2. Instead of 5 games its lowered to 2 or 3
  3. You can start leaver buster but not que for the match later (or simply just wait an hour and a half (20/5 games)

Reasons:

  1. Some people don't have enough time to wait for a full 20 minute que then play a 30 minute match
  2. When your game crashes/freezes it should display as an "error" (otherwise you are banning a person who potentially did nothing)
  3. Waiting 20 minutes for a match then suddenly get a person who isn't trying or is toxic is a big deal

All you're asking for here is to make Leaver Buster irrelevant. If players are not penalized for leaving too many matches they have no incentive to fix their issue or otherwise avoid leaving.

If you don't have time, don't queue up. When you can't commit to a match and leave you are causing a lot of problems for the rest of the players. I doubt you enjoy when an ally leaves and you have to play a 4v5; Leaver Buster is the only thing there to reduce that.

This does nothing, if this were implimented, I could start my Leaver Buster, go watch a movie for two hours, come back and no consequences were to be had.

Then don't queue up. I always plan to make sure I have an hour before I have to leave to start queueing up again.

If that happens every once in a while, you won't get more than a one time 5 minute ban. If it is happening more frequently, then there's probably something wrong with your client or your computer.

There was a time when you could dodge with no penalty, games in bronze took over an hour to start going through champ select so many times.
