How am I supposed to become a better player?

I don't understand how am I supposed to improve my behaviour when the typical game is like this (this was my first game played today after a month of not playing):

I said jungle and went twitch, xin zhao of course says jungle like 15 seconds later and instalocks, and I could've gone adc, and most ppl will hate me for this, but I said jungle first.

He then starts flaming me and that he said jg first, typical bullshit.

Top: Aatrox Mid:Brand Bot:Lulu

Game starts, brand (his premade ofc) starts saying that I instalocked and to report me, I said he is lying and that xin zhao instalocked, then the enemy Kai'Sa said to rep the enemy zed for instalocking.

Picked up my red while brand was trying to steal it, went to bot and ganked Lulu, and of course coming from someone who has "Katarina" in their name tag (the Kai'Sa) starts saying "REPORTING YOU FOR INSTALOCKING, CAN'T EVEN 2v1", and then kha'zix ganks and Kai'Sa's most famous quote from that game "DIENOOOOOOOOOOOOB", spammed the chat with it of course, I get fed and then the typical Aatrox with the justicar skin starts feeding the hell out of zed and kha'zix, how am I supposed to kill 2 assassins who one shot me? Anyways, the game goes on and kha is like 18/0, and at the end he is 35/2.

Kai'Sa starts getting fed by my other teammates and starts saying "ez" when she kills me, and of course when I killed her she says "U CAN'T 1V1?!?!?!"

Basically we get steamrolled with me with the most kills on our team.

Now I am asking you, other league players, how the HELL am I supposed to enjoy this game? (Kai'Sa has still not been banned beacuse of this stupid new banning system btw). Back to the main question, why do people not switch to HoTS? I don't think HoTS is fun but i would rather play something mediocre with good players than some cancerous children.

Now this is a bit hypocritical, since on my 2nd account I posted that I was perma'd 2 times already, been playing since 2013, but seriously how the hell am I supposed to improve my behaviour when I am always playing with players who "fucked my mother" or "will burn down my house" etc.

TL;DR: Kai'Sa not getting banned after being so toxic it's unreal, instalocking people ruining games not getting banned, only people getting banned are those who argue with trolls, the system is broken and imho all that's better in league than in HoTS is countered by the toxicity of league's community. Who else agrees the system should be fixed or tribunal getting back?

I'm almost certain you are bronze and you play in Blind Pick, without even having to say all the instalock shit. The way that the all chat was talking, is indicative of the typical EUNE Blind Pick Bronze shitstorm.

  1. There is no assigned roles in blind pick.
  • Call order is common courtesy but not a hard rule.
  1. Reports alone done do anything. There has to be a bad behavior for it to be a valid report.
  • Don't worry about people saying that they will report you, nothing will happen if you didn't do anything wrong.
  1. Use the mute button if you feel that they won't have anything to contribute.
  • If they are already abusing chat, chance of them using chat the right way is slim. No need to get distracted by the toxic, just focus on the game and play.

Just play ranked.

God I'm glad NA still has Draft for Norms.

You become a better player by getting good.

First of all, thank you for your kind responses, but maybe I should have worded it a little bit differently and I also want to add something.

@MrHaZeYo this is a new acc and I want to buy a 6300 champ so I don't have enough champs for draft, but yeah being able to play Draft in EUNE is rare beacuse the servers are down alot.

@Decent Gamer I am not talking about my skill, I am talking about the community's toxic behaviour, also how am I supposed to win against 2 assassins who can one shot me? Kha'Zix was 18/0 on like minute 17, there was no way to stop all other teammates from dying while jungling.

@Venompaw that is where I am mostly salty myself beacuse of the competitiveness, also I am lvl 17.

@Dolyna I know but I have been playing hots since 2016 and I have encountered 10-13 salty players in all of the games I have played, but in League I get people like this every time.

@Kei143 I know but what bothers me is how they don't get banned, and I am sure that kai'sa was salty in other games too, beacuse she was talking about how she never gets bans for flaming in chat.

So when you get the perma ban screen I think it says "You are in the 0.3% of consistently toxic people" now I think this is straight up bull$hit beacuse either:

  1. It's lying to people. 2.Most of the people who get banned instantly create a new account.

Update: I got an instant feedback report, it was 100% Kai'Sa, glad justice has been done.

You move on and realize 1 game is a mere pebble in the sea of your league experience. You report them, play another game, and hone your skills. You stop playing blind pick, where there are no rules as to who goes where. Blind pick should be the last mode you play if you want a specific role. Watch videos, read/follow guides. Play the game. The best way to improve, is through experience. The biggest mistake someone can make, is dwelling on a shitty match, like you are doing now. You played one game in a month, and called that experience "typical". How can you ever expect to improve with an attitude like that?

If you're lvl 17, I'd suggest switching to ARAM until you've built your champion pool. It can't teach you things like jungling or lane roles, but it will help you familiarize yourself with a wider range of champions in a less stressful environment. Games are also shorter, so if you do run into problem players, you won't have to put up with them as long.

I think it's pretty safe to say that just about any online PvP game is full of cancerous children. It's the nature of the beast. You may be falling victim to "the grass is greener on the other side of the fence" syndrome.

I'm a little surprised that more people don't get together with people they trust and form 5-player premades in this game. I would think it would be the best way to cut down on all these problems. Mind you, that's not something I would do, so I can hardly expect others to do it. It just seems a little odd to me.
