what could I do in this situation?
honestly, I am not the type of person who gets emotional in games. I would never ragequit a game and leave my team behind while they need me the most. I've never been in this type of situation before and the fact that it happened really put me in perspective of how much this game can give anxiety attacks to a person who could easily get hurt with words or rants coming from someone else.
I went into a ranked game. usually I don't like to play ranked games because of how competitive the game gets. I like to have fun and taking this game seriously will only propagate stress between the team if someone is not doing their part. I consider myself and okay zed player for the rank I am. not many flashy plays but I can defend myself, but this time was different. I went against a Yasuo and lost against him in the first couple of minutes. He was a great player I was amazed how he beat me so easily. as soon as he got first blood my team started to get angry at me. but it'd be good since I thought I could beat him when I respawned, but I ended up getting him another kill. at that moment the whole team collapsed and in all this time I've played league I've never seen that amount flaming and toxic behavior. they just couldn't understand this Yasuo player was way better than me and sometimes you can't win I started playing defensively but at that point it was too late. their jungle had already a few kills ahead and we lost most of the towers in the first 20 minutes. my team was furious. they said things like they wanted to report me and wished me I got cancer and died. and I know I messed up cause I was too confident I would win my lane but I don't think anyone should deserve that kind of treatment. there just wasn't any teamwork. my team isolated me completely. I couldn't even farm because the adc would go into my lane and tell me to stand back so he could get all the cc, the support sold all of his items and bought like three boots, the jungle never ganked me again when we could have turned it around, the top was the only one defending me and telling them they were fucking up. even the opposite team felt sorry for me knowing that I couldn't do anything about it. I felt I was fighting against 9 people instead of 5 and the worst part is I couldn't say a word since it was all my fault for dying in the first minutes twice. I fought as much as I could till the last minute but I couldn't do much. the fact the whole team wished I killed myself put me into a lot of pressure and take wrong decisions. it's true I made a mistake and I have a friend who always tells me that I should look more into how did I do wrong than blaming the team, but I just can't do that in this situation since I was up against the wall and had no way of defending myself.
so my question is what could I do in a situation like this? I'm sorry for the wall of text and I appreciate if someone took the time to read this
thank you
