14 day suspension for asking people to focus on the game, and to stop flaming their teammates

I had 2 games within a couple which were extremely annoying. With players clearly breaking the rules. Troll picking Casseopia support because they didin't agree with a Taric Jungle, and an ekko who intenionally fed and ran into towers, and chatted about it saying he didnt care.

Game 1. Ekko Jungle started farming my sidelanes on purpose. Running past his jungle, only to take my farm and leave. he did this multiple times, so I asked him to stop. When he continued, I went to the jungle and took 2 camps.

This caused him to intentionally run into towers 2 times, and then run into 1 on 4's 4 times. Also typing about how "he didnt want to win anymore" and "does't care about winning"

Game 2. This guy picks Taric Jungle, and another person picks Casseopia support to troll the Taric pick.

Taric gets me first blood, and we go up 3-0.

Casseopia, with his botlane partner MF, begins to flame the Taric for "trolling" despite him being the cause of our lead, and then begin to swear at me for defending taric and asking them to play.

I recieved a 14 day ban, first offense for this.

I cannot understand what I did, or said that was SOOOOOOOO Serious to warrant me skipping 2 ban phases, while both players

  • One who troll picked Casseopia, and flamed ALL GAME, with homophobic slurs
  • Ekko who intentionally ran into towers multiple times, fed intentionally, and admitted to it on chat.

are NOT banned in any way, and are still playing.

Please advise. I don't understand how this warranted me skipping 2 tiers of punishment.

A 10 game chat restriction? Sure, Maybe I was a LITTLE mean.

But a 14 day ban, while both of the people who flamed me relentlessly, and actually fed are still free to play? How is this fair? How is this justice?

I submitted a ticket, and just got a copy paste answer that I've seen posted on these boards.

Fyi: I upvoted you, so the thread is at least back to 0. Maybe that Riot Tantrum dude will come in here and shed some light on it. Though when he does, it's like a Leona Ult, startling and a bit poo inducing.

If this was your first violating of Riot sensitive terms the 14 days ban is out of context and u deserve an appeal for justa chat restriction for that light cool off after being harassed.

It's more against the rules to let people know that my teammate is intentionally killing himself so we lose the game, than it is to intentionally feed?

he's still playing. I got a 14 day ban for 1st offense.

The message this is sending is: Don't say anything about intentionally feeding or being toxic, just intentionally feed yourself - that way you don't get banned.

I personally don't like how the system gives suspensions to people and I thought this was your 3rd offense because of https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/207489286-Instant-Feedback-System-FAQ- your behavior is pretty light compared to people who auto-locks top lane yasuo then flames the team for not warding top lane river.

for them to be giving u a 14 day ban u had to have done something else in the past.. also YES going into all chat and calling for reports on your teammate is a reportable offence... they other team can see that he is feeding if it is as obvious as u say... and they can report if they see fit.. the amount of chatter u had going is mind blowing.. the fact that u typed that much im not surprised it turned toxic.. just mind your own business when it comes to other lanes farming, other lanes dying, other members game play.. play your lane keep your chat to a minimum and play clean.. the other team will see whats going on.. your counter reports might hold more water at that point.. instead you had a war of words and lost your head in the process...

That doesn't normally jump someone from no ban to straight 14.

Unless they are edited I don't see any of the buzzwords that would go from no punishment to 14 ban. I'm on a road trip so I can't check you matches to see if it looks like you were trolling or inting, which would be the other way to get a straight to 14 day ban.

Curious what I might be missing.

Its the top game with the ekko Skampz,

and then then the Garen game where I got 3/3 with the Taric Jungle, and the Casseopia bottom who goes 0/8.

I do not troll games, This was RIGHT after I climbed out of bronze with a 80% winrate and all I wanted to do was win (finally took the game seriously). My frustration is BECAUSE of people trolling.

Dude I understand that, trying to climb out of bronze as a supp flame hard. I've been hit with chat restrictions once, and probably will soon again.

Out of curiosity, if you remember, you mention in game 2 someone was using homophobic slurs, you didn't happen to repeat those slurs in post game chat did you?

I only ask because that will escalate you. Even if you say, "Please report x because he called me a :slur:". The system will hit you for that.

I play 99% of my games /mute all. I talked for literally 3-4 games, and got banned. i really don't understand what I said that got me a ban that skipped 2 tiers, and straight to a 14 day ban.

All I wanted to do was win.

Well the logs are only in game chat not post game. Like I said, it's the only thing I could think of to escalate straight to 14.

That's not being a dick, thats pointing out objective facts.

Also don't call me a hypocrite out of context.

I called him an idiot because hes blaming our Taric Jungler for our loss, despite us being up 3-0 in the beginning of the game - and the bot lane ended 0/12.

I also asked them REPEATEDLY to focus, stop blaming their teammates, and to play the game. Their flaming continued, which is why my comments continued.

Please don't begin to tell me that if someone is berating you repeatedly you won't say anything back.

Regardless of what they say, if what you say is in the wrong you will get punished.... that being said and as i said you should not have gotten a 14 day for the first offence

I fail to see how me pointing out that she was in bronze, and I wasn't is "offensive" or "toxic" to the point of needing a 14 day ban. This is an objective, self-verifiable fact by anyone with a computer. Not offensive, Just factual.

I am trying to understand the justification for this. That is all. Please advise.

sure u can.. but just cause they havent been perma banned like u doesnt mean they havent been given some form of discipline.... if you just stopped with the finger pointing calling out others then u might get more support from the community..
