So, Im relatively new to League, I started at the end of S5. I've enjoyed the game a lot and spent hundreds of dollars on the game. And A couple of days ago I had a really shitty day, and was put in a game with trolls. I couldn't handle it and I blew up on them. Should I have done that no. But It's in the past and I've learned my lesson. Today I got through my 10 game Chat-Restriction pretty easily but what I was surprised with a few games after the chat restriction was over was the message "You are not eligible to receive loot due to previous behavioral reasons" At first I thought it was a glitch so I restarted the client and played another game... Where I was once again greeted with this lovely message. #1 I was given the chat restriction for one game out of hundreds I've played. #2 I understand I got leaver buster a couple of times but those were due to power outages and Internet problems. I researched a little about this and saw other people still had that message months after their chat restriction ended. Once again these people were punished for a couple games out of hundreds or even thousands. This system is broken, And needs to be fixed.

No, it's not broken, that is how it's supposed to work. You being ineligible for hextech loot is supposed to go on longer than your punishment. You can start earning loot again, however it all depends on your behavior. Once you start showing consistent, improved behavior in your games, then you will start earning loot back. This can take a few weeks if you improve quickly, or it can take up to a few months if you don't show improved behavior at all. it's all dependent on your behavior.

Also, your chat restriction was not for only one game. It generally takes multiple games of bad behavior to be punished. It can take only one, but in those cases the behavior is likely very severe and the player will receive a much harsher punishment than just a chat restriction. Now, you may have received only one game of chat logs, but that doesn't mean that it was the only game that contributed to your punishment. The system is designed to send you only 1-3 games as examples of your behavior that got you punished, but it's not an entire list of everything bad you did.
