I got a permaban for insulting a friend, What now?

So my last ban was around a year ago and through looking at the support ticket I sent to find out more information it was with the same phrase "KYS". Now I understand that it's extremely toxic, but does it really deserve a permanent ban? not even a chat restriction or a 2 week ban, a straight permanent ban?

FYI: the KYS i sent last time was to the same group of friends, After that ban I took a long break from league, around 9 Months and had completely forgotten that I had been banned in the first place, Until noticing that I was "dishonorable"

So what I'm really making this thread for is to find out, whats the way forward, is there anything I can do to get the account back; It has over £600 worth of money spent on it and is a 6+ year account, I don't really want to go forward without it.

I have already sent a support ticket but as it was the chatbot thats banned me I have little hope. for someone who I guess technically is a "repeat offender" cough banned twice in 6+ years, one for when I had bad wifi and the other last year because of this crazy chatbot they've put into the game cough what can I actually do.

I'd love to hear peoples opinions, If you're going to sit there and tell me "you deserve it" I disagree, i deserve a punishment, Not to be locked out forever.

Taking a break from League does not reset your account's status. You were issued a final warning, took a break, then when you returned you were still toxic. I'm not sure how you thought telling someone to kill themselves would ever be okay in League - whether you know the person or not.

...but does it really deserve a permanent ban?

I mean, yes. You get only one second chance for this sort of thing, unless you have a sufficiently long period of gameplay that can prove you have improved your in-game behavior. It seems like you did not, which means returning and repeating the same behavior will get you a permanent ban.

...is there anything I can do to get the account back?

If you have already sent in a ticket to Player Support, then you have taken the only path towards even possibly getting the account restored.

Now you make a new account and move on. While you may think you don't deserve it because you said it to a friend. It doesn't mean you don't deserve the penalty in general. You're not getting that account back.

But you deserve the penalty because you disregarded the policy. You said it on the client while using Riot's Service disregarding the Terms of Use. It doesn't matter who you say it to if you said it on the client to a player, you'll be punished accordingly. The Permaban, however, I don't know your history and I take every player's claim with a grain of salt. So I can't say if you deserve the penalty overall, but you most certainly deserve the penalty.

obviously your friends dont take joking about wanting someone to commit suicide is funny. also you did the exact same offense twice AND with the same people on top of that and expected a different result???? you used zero tolerance speech TWICE. i'm sorry I have no sympathy for people that joke about suicide once, let alone twice.

side note: doesn't matter how long ago the previous ban was, punishments de-escalate based off of games played/good behavior best of luck with support but i doubt they'll give you the account back. time to start fresh
