I received a notification on client (no e-mail) for a 14 day suspension for toxicity. Okay fine I'll take that I am toxic because people troll. Anyway then 14 days later I try to log in but I have been permanently banned? What kind of bs is this? I'm not here to type a paragraph about how much RIOT doesn't care about their customers, I'm here to complain that I was given a permanent ban when it said 2 weeks. Also I have never ONCE gotten an email about bans? I have been 14 day suspended on one account, then banned, this case, and also a suspension on a third account I had to start fresh because RIOT love to fuck up my life. either I get this mistake solved, or I get the reason why the mistake wasn't a mistake and how they don't email people for account bans.

So to be clear, you were informed of a 14-day ban, but it was escalated to perma without you ever playing a game after the 14-day?

Could happen as a result of a manual review of your case, if you were deemed to be exceedingly toxic. Use of slurs could have lead to such action. If you got chat logs for your 14-day ban, we might be able to offer insight there.

But dude, if this is your third banned account, the problem isn't that "Riot loves to fuck up your life". You gotta figure out a way to color within the lines.

It's my second banned account. My third one I was forced to make because I was perma banned out of the blue, and I'll get the logs for you in just a moment. I will also point out that alot of what I say is very sarcastic, or aimed to someone I am friends with in real life. We have dark humour, we're cancer memers, we watch Filthy Frank and laugh about depression so don't think I'm being incredibly disgusting to random people for no reason.

The "%%%%%%%%" stuff is probably slurs/hate speech, which Riot has a zero-tolerance policy regarding. That'll get you a rapidly escalating punishment, so it's not surprising to me that somebody saw your automated 14-day ban, checked your log, and decided to burn your account. Sucks that you weren't informed of that action, but I don't necessarily think a mistake was made.

I'm all for sarcasm and memes, but you're clearly comfortable talking severe shit to your team on a constant basis, and that shit doesn't fly for long.

Worst thing is being able to mute people doesn't help, because you can just unmute them when you see other people responding to their shit talking. Plus you can't turn off chat in general. It's a shame but I guess I just have to suck it up, shut the fuck up and look forward.

If riot wants to fix toxicity in league they need to put more emphasis on punishing trolls. I feel you on this one actually. The only games I lose my cool in are ones where intentional feeding happened, or troll picking champions, etc. Trolling is not punished in this game, yet toxicity is. Toxicity happens overwhelmingly because of trolling. They are punishing the reaction, not the root cause.

I just had a game with this guy, I willingly gave him my role and I still single-handedly carried him while he was completely useless. He spent the whole game trying to teach me how to play and when i responded with a few lines about how he was wrong, he cried in all chat to report me.

Not only is asking for reports in all chat a bannable offense, you're asking for false reports, purely because your feelings were hurt when i said something you didn't like. If you're going to act like a total asshole and try to teach people how to play when they're solo carrying you then make sure to mute them because the response is probably going to hurt your sensitive little feelings.

I've seen this happen before.... what happened was that the automated system gave you a punishment of two weeks.

It also notified a Riot employee who manually reviewed your case. This employee decided to hit you with a perma-ban which is why you've gotten conflicting information. Now I agree that Riot's draconian system is INCREDIBLY bad for the game, for the community and in general, but people don't agree with me so most people will tell you that you got exactly what you deserved.

I don't agree. I believe the draconian system is wrong.

Yes but not really.

The bigger issue is not "a person flosses too much" but rather that they may floss incorrectly. If you are flossing after every meal, as long as you are not using cheap/garbage floss or (Good lord) toothpicks, you will be fine. Floss gently and smoothly, there should be no issue even if it is done 3 or 4 times a day.

If a person flosses incorrectly, at best the flossing will be ineffective and at worst they will stimulate the gingiva in such a way that gingivitis occurs or even worse than that, cause lacerations highly prone to infection but we're getting into hyper extremes here. I very much doubt you're doing anything like that. So unless you're doing something VERY wrong, you have nothing to concern yourself with.

Protesting in a civil manner that one disagrees with the draconian system is not wrong. The game's social interactions functioned a lot better when players had the liberty to interact freely rather than through a tight regulatory system which condemns any interaction not considered appropriate by the draconian law.

If the system was to strict it would have rules that wasnt possible to follow like north korea.

That's literally the line used to justify draconian systems. It goes alongside "If you have nothing to hide and have done nothing wrong, what's the harm in suspending habeas corpus?" although that is a bit of an extreme example.

I have about 20k games played. I have had one permabanned account (early S2) and this account has been up for years, I went from zero-to-permaban because of extremely trivial offenses. Riot saw fit to do this but then the punishment was overturned.

Not finding your email notification is unfortunate. It has nothing whatsoever to do with the fairness of your punishment, which you've recognized you deserved : "Okay fine I'll take that I am toxic".

So yes, your punishment is fair. Try to look through your spam folder, or check on your forum account what email is actually attached to your account. Because the email is sent by a computer program, so it doesn't really make sense to think "they haven't sent it'.

Spam filters? I've lost a lot of things to Gmail randomly deciding it was spam.

Autofilters? I had a filter turned on and was wondering why I wasn't receiving emails from a place for ages. Turned out I was, I just wasn't seeing them.

Also, it sounds like you don't know exactly which email goes with this account.

Again, just silly questions to make sure all your bases are covered. But, perhaps submit a support ticket asking for it to be resent?

I've had 2 bans and a suspension. Neither of the 3 emails those accounts use have ever received an email about it.
