Riot needs to up their punishment game

Ive been a player since season 2 and I do believe that Riot implemented some good regulations on player behavior and the punishments. However there is still so many toxic and obnoxious players that dont deserve to be in the game. I dont think that calling someone dumb or stupid or the N-word should be allowed, especially not repeatedly! Fine everyone has a bad day and you lash out and that happens and its fine but dont do it over and over again... It creates a toxic environment that is NOT NECESSARY

Riot has to punish such players faster, I dont know how the system internally works but a few reports should lead to a punishment. I have the feeling that e.g if a player is being reported for harassment it would take much longer for a player to be punished than if you would to report someone for AFK ing...

These are my two cents feel free to discuss and I would appreciate a rioters comment... Im very dishearted at how people treat each other even on a small scale as it is unecessary :/ [sg-janna]

I think the system works well against toxic people. But it's too inefficient to punish Trolls and "Rage-quiters".

I also think it would be nice to give a warning before the chat ban. Because there are people who are a little toxic, and they stay under the radar.

I think we need Riot to hire more people to become player behavior specialists and look into troll reports to try and figure out who is trolling and ban them faster.

Riot should punish people who afk a lot harder.

Any punishment that is less than a Blizz-style cheater ban is simply a minor deterrence. People (me) just play on other accounts while waiting for bans or afk farm the jungle in bot games to get rid of chat restrictions while doing other things. It's actually incredibly easy to get perma'd if you say the right words once or twice. I've once gotten a 14-day where only 2 games were cited, both of which had a single message sent: "kys xd"

Sucks that my favorite banter words/phrases are on Riot's "zero tolerance" list. Sometimes they just come out as if I'm playing with people I know. Would probably get an instant perma or IP ban if they moderated PM's lol..

I agree but it'll be too much work for Riot's AI system to comprehend. They'd have to spend more money instead of getting a bigger paycheck.

Nonetheless they should really spend more money on the game to fix these things.

Fuck No. if there was some sort of leniency in your suggestion, then hell yes. But when people like me who try and movtivate the team and then i get one bad match against a teammate who DECIDES to be toxic that make and aggrivate me and insult me, so i defend myself in this ONE match and get a 10 game restriction and heavy honor penalty. For what..? I didn't even get a chance. It was ONE match. and i didn't even say anything bad to my team or anything.
